I love the fact that this is pretty much a middle finger to the haters AND a body positivity song at the same time. You're right, she's breathtaking... and being so vocal about the BS of beauty standards is exactly what is needed. Red-headed Hwasa is a menace, in all the right ways, lol. 😂❤

Hwasa my baby! She did a lot of stages in the different music shows. She's amazing! The songwriter of this song just signed with P Nation too! Hwasa did bc they let her do this song (that's what she said) Songwriter: An Shinae. Recommended 100% PS. I think you never checked Psy latest album, I recommend you his song with Hwasa (Now, a remake of an 80s song by Jermaine Jackson, you'll recognize it I'm sure!) and the one with Crush (Happier) :) It's yours and Jimin's month!

Lazy isn't the right word... but it's like a drowsy vocal. When she gets to the chorus, it's a change from the verses like she's tired of explaining to the person and she really doesn't care. Brilliant decisions were made during the recording of this track.

I would say more like 'soulful' vocals. She can do it all, really, but her relaxed lower tones really go to Blues, Jazz, Soul... :)

The police car is because she was recently report to the police by some university parents organization for “indecent behavior” due to a performance she did in a university festival! Completely absurd, and this song was her response to that scandal!

Agreed. 'The KBS' is not any kind of actual 'standard', it's just B.S. The people who invented the KBS were wealthy old farts and they thought it up with their own kinks in mind. To bad money talks louder than Humanity. There is NOTHING that is actually 'standard' about the 'Korean Beauty Standard'. It blocks 90% of Koreans from ever being able to fit into it, making it completely non-standard, anything but standard. People who fit into it initially (probably because they are still kids) don't fit in it for long. Those who keep trying to make themselves fit into it always end up harming themselves emotionally and either physically (with the diet that weakens and eventually kills them by slow starvation) or mentally (they go crazy for their inability to keep themselves stuffed into that impossibly rigid, tiny little box that somebody else thought up). The rest of the public has been brainwashed into accepting that this is what 'good looking' means.

The Police car at the end has some significance. Martinschafer7404 comments explains. I do not know if it is trie but I have read something similar, elsewhere. Thiss song was offered to Hwasa from her new record label. It has been around for a year or so but I don't know if it was written for some one else who didn't want it, or is just a stock song from the record company's files?

I have mixed feelings about this song…I absolutely love the message and the vocals. However the talking part throws me off (and this isn’t just saying this song it happens all the time in kpop songs). I will admit though Hwasa did make is sound better and catchy. Besides that one part of the song and how it was sung I love the song. I did put it on my playlist I liked the message first off and the vocals are just too good. Edit: I agree she is stunning

I don't get you guys in the US. There are a lot of your own entertainers that break a lot of rules and you guys are going to get one the case of KPOP/HWASA. I've watched their music videos and seen their fashion. At least they're not having their butt cheeks sticking out of outfits that can't hold their butt cheeks. Their fashion statements in their videos are not so revealing as those in the US entertainment. But to each their own. 💙

during a university performance , some parents organization or such filed formal complaint to police that one her dance movements was too sexy for students. She went in for 3 hours questions..hence the police car. Hwasa did not sign yet with pnation but received song demo from psy to hear...as she said, she did not write this and not her usual style song but she decided to take it as it made her feel better at that time and wanted other people to be proud of their body when others try shame you. So she signed with pnation and released this song. Love her.

We are assuming the police car is there becaus of the police investigation of how sexy her performance was at a university (a right wing so called parent organization complained).
