Jimin has always been awesome to me. He has always had the "IT" Factor but never realized it. He felt inadequate and wanted to be a really good singer but never felt like he could be one. He used to cry about it and received a lot of criticism because his voice would sometimes crack, but he still made lead singer because of his high notes. He also had the hardest choreography to do. If you notice he traveled a lot in their dance. He would move to one end to the other end and in between the members. I am sure his extra movements were the reason his voice cracked. He was out of breath. All the other members received 2 to 3 years vocal training before their debut but Jimin never received any vocal training before his debut because BigHits were not sure they were going to keep him. Jimin asked V and Jungkook if he could listen to their vocal training and they said yes. After the training session was over, Jimin would go off to himself and practiced what the vocal coaches told V and JK what to do. He trained in hip hop and k-pop in his early years but decided to do contemporary dance. He said this changed the way his body moved and because this was a hip hop, k- pop group he almost didn't make it. He was almost let go 8 times before BigHits decided to keep him the day before his debut. He and JHope were the main dancers in the group because of their excellence dancing abilities. They helped each other with their dancing. JHope is known for being one of the world's best K-pop, hip hop dancers. Jimin is known to be one of the world's best dancers. He developed his own style and it is said you cannot duplicate nor learn his way of dance. It is something you have to be borned with according to the videos I have watched about Jimin's dancing. He trained in Hip Hop, K-pop, contemporary dance, ballet, Japanese dance, and some other dances plus his numerous training in taekwondo (blackbelt), kendo (type of fencing for 8 years), harpio, as well as some other types of martial arts. I am sure all of this training made him who he is today and developing his style of dance. There are several video on his vocal and dance training such as Jimin's vocals and Jimin's dancing.

The choreo is incredible ! I have watch the MV and the dance practice more than 20 times, and it's always mindblowing. I hope you will react to the MV shooting sketch, it's amazing !

I recognized the artistry in song and dance when I first saw it but it wasn't my favorite though I felt it answered my absolute favorite Jimin solo, "Lie". But I kept listening because BTS songs have snuck up on me before where my first reaction was tepid but it grew to be a favorite (as this one did for me). That didn't surprise me. What did surprise me was my visceral reaction to people saying it was horrible, even that Jimin shouldn't be allowed to sing like that. Um, what? It's like "We love BTS for being authentic but that wasn't the authenticity I had in mind." Honey, that's not how it works. Even when I wasn't as thrilled with the song as I am now, it never occurred to me that I was cheated or that Jimin shouldn't be able to sing how and what he liked. That's crazy talk. And even if it hadn't won me over, I'd feel that way. Jeez, people, artistry is telling you're own truth, not what someone else thinks is your truth. In a way, I think this song is saying that to these people. I guess they don't like hearing it.

11:40 It's not actually that people really love it or really hate it but there is BTS haters, other kpop groups fandoms and other BTS members solo stans etc that go all out spreading hate about it and Jimin as if the song is the worst thing ever. Just to make it seem as people hate it. It's just like before when other kpop groups fandoms gone together to try to ruin BTS comebacks. Now they do it to Jimin, spreading hate and stream and vote for other artists new releases to make Jimin's not chart as high etc. The hate twts and vulgar things said about him and death threats have increased more and more since it was announced he is releasing his solo album. In real life some don't vibe with the song but most love it. And there is nothing to hate Jimin for, he is the sweetest most caring little bean, always putting others first so he really do not deserve getting hated for no other reason than that people want their faves to do better.
