Shot Glass of Tears and Somebody are my favorite songs on the album. I am also impressed by Kookie's emotional depth in choosing the songs that he chose for his debut solo album; placing them in their order and singing to match the emotion. It makes me admire and respect him even more as an artist. I mean, he is surrounded by 6 genius brothers plus Papa Bang and Uncle PDogg ... he learned from some of the best! 💜

These guys never make dull or empty music. They, all of them send messages on their disks, everything has a reason, and they are valid messages for anyone who will take them to their own story.

The production of tears and shedding them has an affect on your entire face. The salt in our tears are like the diamonds in the song. Cutting or hurting his face from all the wiping. "blood sweat and tears". I really love this song.

This whole album was a relationship from start to (devastating) finish. If you listen to it in order, the story really comes to life. "Shot glass of tears" was such a realistic ending to the album. MOST relationships end (hopefully with a lesson) until you find the one (if ever). It has a different meaning to me because if my own life circumstances that have NOTHING to do with a relationship.. but that's the beauty of GENUINELY good music with heart felt lyrics, no matter who wrote them. It's message reaches beyond what you think it would because art is subjective and can be interpreted in many ways. This is my favorite song on the album. I haven't cried over a song in YEARS .. but for some reason this one got me.

Every song JK has selected for this album relates to the love of his life. It is a tribute to only one person and we all know who that person is.

Sick in bed...first video I saw was On. Really caught my attention. It reminded me so much of MJ. Then learning the BTS story lines...carried through multiple things. This album is very, very good. Even tho this is the "last song" because the next song is Seven the clean version, I feel that JK put Seven the clean version as the ending song on purpose. On Shot Glass of Tears, the last verse says: "Need somethin' strong for the sorrow Somethin' strong for the pain So, I can wash it away I was cold, now, I'm freezin' (Cold, now, I'm freezin') Stuck in a permanent season (Permanent season) And we both know you're the reason (Know you're the reason) I'm not the same as before, I don't feel anymore". The only thing "strong" for sorrow & pain is Love. He also says "I don't feel anymore", so he needs to Love or be loved. The last sentence on the song is "She got some dangerous hobbies Like chasin' after the sun, and makin' me fall in love". So the last song is Seven the clean version. In Seven the clean version, the word "f**cking" is switched to "loving". That makes a lot of difference! So I feel that JK learned that if he approches a girl with the intention of loving instead of f**cking, he might save all the heartache & pain that comes when pleasure is the driving force instead of love. So now JK is telling the girl that he's "loving her 7 days a week" instead of "f**cking her 7 days a week", which was probably the beginning of all the pain & sorrow that he ended up with. Seven the clean version as the last song proves that love will always have a better outcome....just my interpretation of the album as a whole.

Impressive close to the album and like you said, we got what we expected - the showcase of vocal skills, dancing prowess, visuals; and got so much more, a thematic succession of songs that touched us profoundly at the end. Like Taehyung's "Layover", this album left the situation unresolved and in their different ways they seem to be asking "how do I go on?" Now, this is totally personal to me and subjective; from my perspective and emotional engagement with these guys, this song could be a prelude to Jin's "Epiphany". That's how I would achieve closure for them. Until their next albums and they present their own resolutions!
