Drill a small hole in the bottom so that when you're putting the phone in the air in the case has somewhere to go.

MoodiFLEX You are right, as you can see in the video, you can put the phone in and out, but by adding a small hole at the bottom more air can flow into the case, thus making the process of taking the phone out or putting it in easier.

I made a case for my zippo in that kind of style but i add some twisted copper wire straps to one side so i could have it on my belt. Then i saw this video and i want to make a phone case for my belt now. Thanks DIRESTA. You are amazing

a case like that has a lot of potential. with a few modifications you can do many different things with that, give it access and view slots, make it openable and stuff

Jimmy, that technique for transferring the adhesive from the leather to the case is very clever.

I would have put a hole with some wire mesh at the bottom for the speaker so you can hear it go off in your pocket. Also a headphone jack hole maybe. And as someone else suggested, a dremel-cut hole for charging. All-in-all great work! Love the videos, keep them coming!

So nice!! I would drill a hole for the speaker when it rings or for music, it would help with the vacuum when you pull/push the phone as well. You can turn the phone arround but it would press the on/off button but I guess he buit it to his specs

The form is absolutely beautiful, natural hard wood, superb grain, excellent build but the design didn't quite do it for me. I was hoping it would be a surround case so the top was exposed and there wasn't a need to remove it from a sleeve.

I tried making a iPhone 4 case that was an actual case out of wood a few years back but I didn't have the right tools or materials to make it how I wanted it to be so I had to scrap the project I might try and make one for the iPhone 7 when it comes out at my grand fathers shop.

Maybe u could drill a tiny hole at the bottom so there would be no vacuum suction when u pull out the phone so it comes out easier. Someone mentioned a hole for charging which is a good idea. I would like the wood to be thinner though. But it would probably break from falls.

It looked like there as a problem with taking it out. Might have been better to drill a hole in the bottom, with the blank inside, to allow air flow

Cool case! looks like the front camera is still exposed when it's in the case. You could put it in your shirt pocket and record video with it in the case

Looks like it is pretty tight. Try making a small hole on the bottom so air will flow

if you put 2 small holes in the bottem to let the air flow it will go in and out better but it is still very cool
