That one ring Dirk has is priceless. He could have done it the easy way by leaving Dallas, joining Kobe with LA, or by joining any other superstar to form their own super team but no. He did it his way, and got that sweet 2011 team over the super team of the Heat. He may not have as much rings as the other greats, but that 2011 ring is more than enough to make him a top 10 NBA player of this era. #Swish41DallasMVP

Dirk did way more dunks than I thought :-) But he's already clearly a legend because of his step back one leg fadeaway. He has definitely to be in the hall of fame!
@Fj34 жыл бұрын
A lot of these plays - aside from the game-winners - are dunks off of textbook fakes... As a defender, how do you not bite on his fakes? If you don't bite on his fakes, he'll swish the jump shot anyway. Dirk's one-legged fadeaway is the second most iconic and unstoppable shot in NBA history (next to Kareem's skyhook), he is the second greatest power forward of all time, a top twenty player of all-time, and his 2011 championship will always be one of the most difficult and celebrated titles in NBA history.

Players will never understand how confidence inspiring Dirk Nowitzki is. There is never a chance when he gets the ball, does a few spins, and fades away with his knee in your face that you question if it will go in. You feel that it will never miss. That Dirk is just too good. His movements are so fluid that you never know if its humanly possible to contort your body at such a steep angle and rainbow all the shots in - just like he does with ease. Dirk's statue will be iconic, and his style and work ethic will be missed by all these younger players.

One of the most UNDERRATED forwards/“bigs” in the game. He was truly unstoppable. One of the first 7 footers with the outside game.

No. 6 is my absolute favorite. He's got one of the best shot fakes in the history of the game! Seeing Durant and Ibala fly by is golden.

Just goes to show that you don't need hops to be a legend in the nba. One of the clutchest shot makers EVER.
