me too. got it for my ps3, couldn't get a copy for my PC or ps5 as licenses are running dry. they're few and far between

@@DrippySportsIsGucci Dirt 5 is a lackluster compared to the previous games. Poor physics, weird visuals, no rally mode, extremely dull career, it's super repetivive and a story that adds nothing. The overall quality of recent Codemasters games has decreassed significantly and titles like Dirt 5 is utterly forgettable.

@LucaStar 8475 I have a pretty good sample size for Dirt Games (Dirt 2, Dirt 3, Dirt Showdown, Dirt 4, Dirt 5) and I can say without a doubt in my mind that Dirt 5 was probably the worst one with Dirt Showdown coming in with second. I've completed each of those games except for Dirt 4. Dirt 2 is easily hands-down the best the series has to offer with the amazing soundtrack, (for example Shout by Black Tide), amazing rally vehicles, proper rally game modes, and an interesting track design and the track follows the mode so if you want high speed racing Trailblazing is there. You want point to point beat the opponents time there's standard Rally, Rallycross for circuit track racing, Landrush for Trophy Trucks, Buggies, Baja, and Raid. Then there is the mode Raid which is point to point racing for trophy trucks and the other larger vehicles kind of like rally but they all go at the same time. Even time trials were fun because you could use any vehicle, so if you ever thought, what would it be like to race a trophy truck on Marina Air in L.A you can do that. Dirt 2 is an amazing game and I hope to one day see it on Backwards Compatiblity.

I like how you feel like "ouch" when you hit something in Dirt2 and in Dirt5 it's like nothing, no camerashake no nothing.

I'm re-playing dirt 2 on PC, I can't believe how good this game aged... Amazing graphics, gameplay and details. And the damage on the cars are insanely awesome...

I personally prefer DiRT 3, however DiRT 2 is also undeniably one of the best racing games of the era.

Одна и лучших частей дирт 2. Внимание к деталям создает ту самую атмосферу, которая запоминается надолго. В свое время наиграл огромную кучу времени

Отличное видео! Ностальгия! Как же хорош Dirt 2 всё-таки... Практически идеальный баланс между интересной физикой и аркадностью. И какого-то чёрта аварии и физика визуально выглядят намного реалистичнее чем в сраном Dirt Rally 1-2. Кроме всего этого, Dirt 2 идёт на высоких в 60 фпс на ноуте 2011 года, Dirt 5 скорее всего выдаст 1 фпс на этом же ноуте, а в замен получишь только более вырвиглазную и мыльную картинку, а так да, разработка дорожает! Всем срочно переходить на дрессировку лучей и видеокарты размером с системник за 150к.

... те же самые мысли, у меня вообще есть предположение что сейчас так стремятся сделать хорошую графику, но не делают упора на физику, интерактивность, и проработку мелочей, по той причине что графику видно сразу, (скриншоты, ролики геймплея) и это легко продать.

When you play dirt 2. You noticed that when you drive over the lake on first person you get amazing realistic water drops on your windshield that after fukin 15 years this effect is very realistic better than dirt 5. But there's some issues you get some flashbags and be unconscious for 2.57sec so do not recommend to drive over the lake if you're a begginer

Тоже бросил Dirt 4, вроде и не плохой аркадный стимулятор, то что-то не то, нет души что-ли, в пятёрку только сейчас руки дошли сыграть, это поосто ужас, даже для аркады, я честно несколько часов подряд пытался перевернуть машину для ролика, не получилось...

also many other games dont have as many details as dirt2, thats exactly why people miss dirt 2 and none other rally game. THE LOVE THEY PUT IN THE GAME!!!! also the main menu in dirt 2 is soooooooooooooooo fucking good, unlike other 99% of games that are cheap and almost rushed sometimes

anyone who hasn't grabbed a copy - same thing as GRID 2008. Get it while you can, licenses have run dry, get a physical copy for ps3/xb360 if you can find it or find a PC license. I had a helluva time finding copies / licenses for GRID 2008 and Dirt 2 for PC so i said fuckit and got them for my ps3. they'll get rare

DiRT 2 - это шедевр, который прошел проверку временем. Играю и кайфую на максималках. Dirt 5, чем-то похож, на Driveclub, V-rally 4.

Okay, to me there seemed like a major shift jn graphics after 2. Everything felt very weighty in the first two games. The world seemed much more rich. Looking at 3 from 2, the coloring and shading has a graininess thay I never saw in Dirt 1, 2, or in Grid.

Ну тут нужно понимать, что Dirt всегда была серией с физикой, ближе к аркадной. И то, что в 5 части всё стало настолько аркадным, вообще не удивительно - разработкой занималась та же команда, что и Motorstorm делала. Вот и решили, что раз прав на тайтл нет, но никто не мешает сделать похожее, но под другим тайтлом - почему бы и нет? Вот и сделали, и вышло хорошо.

Из таких вот гоночных игр, я застрял на RACE DRIVER GRID 2008, Dirt 2 2009 и Dirt 3 2011. Лучше не могу найти гоночных игр такого же плана. Есть ли что-то на том же уровне из современного? Посоветуйте пожалуйста.

should be somewhere in tge ootiins but i dont kniw right now. if on xbox, you can disable vibration in system preferences somewhere.

To this day Dirt 2 has the best crash physics and damage modelling of any game other than beam ng. It also happened to be a unicorn that managed to have great control and be very realistic at the same time. Dirt 5 sucks.

На третьей что-то с управлением намудрили, и первую же трассу не смог пройти. Так и дропнул гоночный жанр. DriverClub вроде ничего была.

This shit saddens me greatly. Dont blame codemasters. The problem is, as computer power increases, the amount of detail increases, which tripled the work needed to program any game, but people still expect to pay the same price for games. They are SOL here. Either include special details and let graphics suffer, or make competitive graphics and skip on these things nobody will notice in a race anyway. The choice is, unfortunately, obvious.
