@@jamess662 I had a factory truck, and had to sell it because when I was done building it I didn't fit very well, and I'm only 5:10, they're tiny inside. Building one to fit an American sized human is a much better option. Now a factory LWB Sami is a good option because they have the longer rear bed/cargo area.

I got pretty decent almost stock square vents dash 88 Sammy. U say u went sxs rt. I am little bit of mechanic say older stuff precomputers and up to 90 early 2000 I mean know all basic welder/fabricator/mechanic hands on type. Anyway wonder with all the problems I see and hear about sxs with belts not really reliable on certain models this and that. Plus not really 100percnt all roads street legal. Should I keep my Sammy put little more into it. Or trade for sxs hope not to get some ones junk. I value to a real Suzuki person it would easily be 55. , 6 k. So on a trade always look to trade up. Don't take first thing have that going for me so if I'm in 7 to 10 k trade might get lucky but still it's no Sammy. Idk 1000 pioneer 5 my son's friend has want this Sammy bad. But man he's hard on his stuff. Lol IDK . Hate get rid of it and hate it cause hard find good one. I have to 3k carb new whole kit,new 235/75/15 mud tires 50 miles on them new starter,2" shackle lift.needs new top I'm in process of truck cab back with little bed I have nice jeep back seat wrangler one. Little winch new needs put on.new stereo Sony Bluetooth,CD, speakers 350$ in it I installed. Light bar. Just wanted someone opinion who had Sammy that now does sxs if wish they kept it. Thanks. Sorry be so long but I'm not to big wallet so not like I'll ever buy a sxs unless it's a fixer upper. Have Honda 300 4x4 little tank. Thanks again

A 4BT would be ridiculously heavy for a rig that size, even the Cummins R2.8 is a bit large. Maybe find a Mahindra Roxor to donate its turbo diesel?

They did a Willys Wagon on a YJ -- chassis had to be lengthened a bit IIRC. That episode WAS available on KZfaq, but IDK if still it is...
