How to hairpin consistently! Worth noting that on tarmac the same ideas are pretty much identical. Don't over rotate the car, drive the car round etc.

i genuinely find this the best in detail and explanation, THE most relaxing and its highly thought-out and just perfect. I appreciate this tutorial and i practiced my hairpins using your method and it worked tremendously Thank you so much mate. Cheers!!!

What a chilled voice, very relaxing :D anyway, thanks for the tutorial! what helped me the most was the "dont throw your car around, DRIVE it around" part...sounds so easy and logic if you think about it and yet i always threw it around like a wet towel going from 4th into 1st gear in the process just to somehow keep it moving xD thanks a lot :)

Thank you. Some people call my voice boring, so your comment about it being relaxing is very appreciated :) Yes, best way to drive on loose surface, is to try and drive like you're not on a loose surface ;)

I'm going to take that as a compliment. I did consider making a longer, simple, spoken word video in fact, for the purposes of relaxing people. You're not the first to say something of the sort.

I've always been confident with my handbrake turns but have never really thought about how I'd put it into words, I just do it. The eloquence of your explanation is something I'd never be able to do, so I'm off to see if there are more tutorials on your channel. I wonder if there's a market for intelligent, soothing ASMR rally technique tutorials, being relaxed and educated about something as hectic as rallying is a very zen experience that's for sure.

I've been watching some of your other videos, relaxing education with verbal valium. You may think you ramble on in your tutorials but I don't agree, sometimes things that seem simple need a little over-explanation to get your point across especially with the intricacies of rally driving. Along with Janne Laahanen (who I only discovered only a few weeks ago) you guys are ridiculously unsubbed. It's a shame smaller channels like yours, GamerMuscle, Jimmy Broadbent, Simpit, Sim Racing Paddock, The Extra Mile, Empty Box, etc that provide great content and education for the Sim Community don't seem to get picked up like 'Team VVV' or 'Inside Sim Racing TV' do, who at the end of the day just seem to make a heap of noise yet provide little substance. Anyway cool channel dude, laid back ASMR rally lessons is the way to go..!

Great videos man! I was wondering what to do with the clutch (got it on a button) and clutch override settings?
@VisceralDisgust7 жыл бұрын
Ah, i play without clutch. As I understand it, you may need to clutch-in while executing the tightest of hairpins, clutch-out as you reach corner exit. If this doesn't answer your question, i recommend you seek help elsewhere as I feel my knowledge will be of no further help.

I have a huge problem in slowing down before the hairpin, basically either I slow too much and the car almost stops before the turn, making it impossible to do a handbrake turn, or even thought I'm slowing the momentum is too high and the car goes straight into the rail... Being practicing and it's the only thing that I haven't learnt yet
@VisceralDisgust4 жыл бұрын
Try this. About 1.5 seconds before the braking zone, just come off the throttle. This should give you loads of time to start gently braking and assessing it's impact. Eventually you'll get a feeling for the braking.
