I agree with Yamaha needing taller doors. The Rmax doors cover you with mud every time you ride it. The full factory doors without the glass are styled just about right so they obviously know how to it. Otherwise great machines.

That can-am seems like an awesome machine but i kinda think it would only be good out west it's quite wide for the hard core east coast wheeling i do and with those knuckles how big of a tire can you run

i ve been Yamaha since 2002 with sleds atvs and sxs and yes fit and finish has changed a bit to worse since they assemble in the usa. imo.

I first looked at a CF Moto side by side. The price drew me in until the dealer told me about all the extra fees etc.. I walked out the door and went and bought a Can Am. I'm happy with my decision.

You had a bad dealer experience. We got our 950 sport for 14,850 out the door.

I would wonder about the top over suspension in the mud.

By the time you upgrade the the CF moto it's not such a great value after all. "Premium brands" come with Fox shocks, have more suspension travel and more hp. They are getting better but still have a way to go. The Maverick R kept the engine size under 1000cc's, that keeps it in the UTV race class. The DCT allows it to be pinned wide open until the engine blows! It's definitely for desert racing Keep the show coming!

Great review! Totally agree with the X2 needing taller doors! Barley higher than your hips! And lose those shoulder things! They make it awkward to get in and out. PITA. Considered this but wife said the Can Am XT-P was easier to get in and out of and seat was more comfortable. Despite the XT-P being 5g + more money we recently bought it.

It's amazing how something simple like door height can impact a sale. XTP is a nice machine. Think it more directly compares to the RMAX. Great choice tho. You'll be happy with that for sure.

Lol... why the hell would a hockey player have anything to do with an ATV? The company would have been better off getting Jeremy Mcgraff or someone else actually associated with offroad racing, ect. 🙄

What? Yamaha has a better fit and finish than the rest, that's a fact. But I'll stick to Can Am and Polaris because the aftermarket stuff for them is by far much more impressive

I’ve been buying Yamaha since 1987, the fit and finish on 12 new vehicles I bought have been 100%, the best. The new 2023 Rmax 2 SE is not up to Yamaha standards. Might be still better than all the rest, but not like they used to be. And I still believe blue.

@@dirttraxtv inside fit and finish is awesome. Outside body panels , and alignment don’t come close to snowmobiles, motorcycles and ATV of the past. Fan of Dirt Trax and still bleed blue Yamaha

I have a question as someone who is looking into getting a UTV. is there a show I can go to to see all the brands. in one place sorry i am of the old school look touch and compare. Great videos by the way. 😀
