This video points out two important things to watch for on the mower.
The first is the bolt that attaches the blades and the second thing is the bolts that mount the motor to the frame.

Update the belt did break and so did the upper pulley tensioner spring . Was able to get the belt but not from dirty hand tools they are out of business. No phone service and internet is just an auto letter that they can’t help anymore. Tried to match spring locally but no luck yet

Thanks for the info, this is my fourth year to have mine , and last year a tire came off but I knew it immediately, only had to replace a metal bushing. Last week , after about 3 hrs of cutting , it made some funny noise just stop cutting. Thinking the belt broke , I will check it out next time I’m out there and also see about sharpening those blades. It’s a workhorse but looks like a double check on all the bolts that can come loose is a good idea.

I put a lock washer on mine. My axles are both bent, throttle cable broke too. Other than that mines been good. I wish I could get finish mowing blades for it

Thanks for the no. My blades aren’t turning. I’ll look at those loose bolts as you indicated.

How does the bottom spring attach to the tension pulley? My belt keeps coming off and I don't know why. The first time it happened, the bottom spring was off of the tension pulley, and now I can't seem to keep the belt on. I am wondering if the spring is attached to the pulley in the wrong place. I have it now on the bottom of the bolt, no nut under it.

The end of the 8" bolt that goes downward through everything just rests on top of the metal deck. From the bottom of the bolt up, the loop on my spring wraps around the 5th valley in the bolt. My belt kept popping off too, I kept playing with the 8" bolt and the nut near the top until the tensioner pulley lined up perfectly with the main pully. Simply put, the mismatch between those two pullies caused the belt to pop off and my spring being too close to the bottom of the bolt caused the spring to slip out. Lining everything up was a matter of persistence, patience and luck.
