How to disable the annoying beep on LG microwave model MH6535GIB.
Cómo desactivar el molesto sonido de un microondas LG modelo MH6535GIB.

Press and hold "cancel" + "auto inverter" buttons for a second or two. A message showing "off" or "on" will be shown, indicating the status of the sound function.

It took a bit of experimenting with length of holding it down but this does also work for the MH6535GIS. Thank you for taking the time to post this!

You are my Hero. I had suffered annoying Alarm sound. So I checked instructions book, and I had serivec call LG center 3 weeks ago. But she said, "there are no any solution Off or reduce the Alarm". Stupid call-center lady. Finally, today I decide to disassemble microwave, research on KZfaq, then I discover this video. Thank you a lot.

On LM0975ST model hold down Auto Reheat and cancel button at same time. After a couple of seconds, screen will say OFF. To turn back on, do the same thing.

I think it's great that LG has built in the option to switch off the sound completely. So everyone can decide for themselves.

Mi modelo es MS 429. Me funcionó con los botones "Mantener caliente" y "Detener". ¡Al fin! Ahora si solo se pudiese hacer que cerrar y abrir la puerta del horno no sea tan ruidoso. Pero bueno, eso es imposible. Realmente no lo hubese comprado. Demora en calentar.y no tiene para pop-corn.

We bought this microwave a week ago. First 3 days it was nice sound, not anymore. Worst part is the constant remainder to open the door. I felt like a slave, but you set me free! My GF will pay me with s*x for finding a solution. I wish Karma will pay you back generously.

@Matsidiso Tshikota The shop replacement it to once and the second came with the same exact sound so I sent it back to the shop so the shop sent it back to me saying that LG found nothing wrong with the unit The second unit actually make some burning smell where is the ventilator and they don't want to do anything about it the shop keeps saying LG claims that all good and I didn't want to take the microwave back I don't know what to do
