The people are so kind. They jumped right up to offer their seats as soon as they saw the disabled man. Chenyang is such a good actor playing the gentle and grateful man. ❤

I remember the young woman a few years back that went viral. And older man had bought the standing ticket but didn't want to stand so he took a seat. Assuming that the person that paid for the seat would come along and he'd move. No one came. There was a young woman there, that had a 7 hour ride. Another passenger even offered her his seat. She declined, saying she was fine. The conductor comes along checking tickets and finds out she had a seat but she refused because the guy was old. Then the conductor tells her to follow him, that he'd find her a seat. So she does. But only after she gets her crutches.

Kindness abound. Here young people, mostly international students, would give up their seats for me & call me "Uncle". Asians brought up in Asia are the kindest & most respectful!

i was born in tahiti but my mom told us that we also have chinese blood and i dindn't believe her until i saw one of my uncle who is 100 % chinese , since then i try really hard to learn chinese and watch many chinese vids on youtube and to be honest i just love it so much.

Very different from my experiences in Shanghai. No one gave up a seat for my pregnant wife nor did I see anyone gave up their seats for the grandmas that look in their 70-80's.

i find it the bare minimum for me to give my seat to someone who needs it more in the bus & train, but i admit if they offered me a gift i’d probably burst into tears 😅 fan from singapore! mandarin is my 2nd language but i express myself way better in english…
