Hi there. I did contact the artist and she refused to fix her. She said she intentionally made her mouth that color intentionally. I may have her sent off to another artist to be fixed at some point. I am enjoying her now. ❤

The Sandie kit may be one of my favorite faces. One of my goals for this year is to be grateful and appreciate what I have. This was a good test for me.

Thank you. You’re right, I do have a right to be upset. And I was for a little bit. Now that I’ve spend some time with her, she has my heart. Overall, she is gorgeous. Do I wish the artist would make it right? Yes. But I asked and she refused. I refuse to spend time being upset over a doll. I felt my feelings and moved on. In my head I at the moment I was really feeling so upset and was like, I should just leave the hobby 😂 I can be a tad over the top when I’m upset. Glad I’ve been able to calm down and have some clarity about the situation.

So when I mentioned it to her and showed her pictures, she said that was the natural color of a child’s mouth. She did not offer to fix her. Her solution was that I could sell her. 🤷‍♀️ but she’s cute so for now, I’m keeping her and loving her no matter what. I honestly thought I was going to have to just put her on a shelf and never interact with her. Kinda dramatic 😂 after I slept on it and dressed her a few times, I feel better. I refuse to let this experience steal my joy. And trust me, I thought it would. Thankfully I am resilient and stopped being a brat 🤣

I think I would use air dry paints and do it myself and seal it with ultra Matt medium. If you are comfortable doing it. She is adorable to me

She doesn’t care about making her customer happy. This is shocking and extremely disappointing. I will never go to an artist like that. I’m so sorry she didn’t finish your baby (which clearly she hid the mouth for some reason!) then was quite disrespectful by telling you to sell her. That is not why you purchased her! You didn’t buy this sculpt and creation to just send her away! Ugh. I’m so upset. I see this was a little while ago but I’m just so emotional lately and this really hurts me for you. These treats are not cheap and they are meant to be finished and the customer should be completely pleased. I’m gonna go cry now 😂😢❤

This was definitely a reaction I couldn’t hide. I did think about not posting it, but I am so glad I did. I assume a lot of collectors will have a box opening similar-where the doll isn’t what was expected. I also like honest review videos! So glad you enjoyed my video. 💕

I agree that artists can forget and I would absolutely understand that. When I reached out to her, she said it was the color of a the color of a babies mouth and didn’t think there was anything wrong with her. She called me a pain and I decided to just let it go. I do appreciate your prospective. Artists are human and could easily make a mistake. This is absolutely okay but in this case the artist said she was painted like that intentionally.
