If you click the shop twice, it teleports you to the actual shop and skips the offers. ( CR knows that the offers are too much, so they made a shortcut). I found that shortcut unintentionally-I wasn't even looking at my shop because of all the offers.

Did all CR KZfaqrs just decided that "yeah this is it let's all make a video to shit on CR once and for all, and B-rad you start first, we will follow suit"

Ryley remember that the lucky drop update was NOT a good update because they balanced it out by removing wild cards from the season shop, making progression way more luck based, incentiving you to buy offers to upgrade the cards you like

Clash Royale is so bad it might need supercell to genuinely step in to save it. It is just too far gone for them to turn back imo. New mangament isn’t gonna fix the mess that’s already happened. I believe they’re gonna revert some things.

Just to reference how fucked up is level 15: I play this game all days since 2016 and my main lava deck was maxed to lvl 14. Since they released the elite level 15 I playing every fucking day managed to only update 3 cards to lvl 15 in the course of a whole year ! Its impossible for me to play any ladder because I always face maxed clowns that have the money to afford LvL 15. Its simply ridiculous bro. Getting a addicted to cocaine would be less harmfull then clash royale …

I'm glad so many big people in the CR community are starting to stand up for everyone. I know a few youtubers have mentioned clash royale's state a bit, but starting with B-rad, so many big people have been making videos. I hope supercell finally notices this

It is sad. When this game first came out, I had a clan with my cousins, dad, neighbor, friends from work, old high school football teammates, etc. It was full of people just playing and enjoying their time. 8 years later and it’s only me and my dad left that play, and I only play once a week now, if that. I was all level 14 after years of grinding, except for a few legendaries and the golden knight, and then they fucked us over with level 15 bs. They make it increasingly unfriendly towards F2P players, and even then.. at least buying the battle pass used to do something. Now, even that has decreased value, clan wars sucks ever since it stopped being about total battle wins, the meta is constantly changing and broken, the community is getting increasingly toxic, and it’s overall just not enjoyable any longer. And it’s not like they’re incapable of making good games or decisions, which is the fucking most frustrating part. This game was so much more fun, more inclusive and beginner friendly.. my sisters both had accounts and played back in 2016/17. It’s just sad man, you spend a lot of time and effort on something, trying to get better, and the dev team is constantly moving the goal posts.

as a f2p player not only i have to play so much to get the cards but then i have to upgrade them AND already having good cards just to reach so many trophies to unlock them. About the evolutions i only have the firecracker from unlocking shards, after that i have 5/6 on the tesla and it just got nerfed heavily, so lucky

I quit the game a few season ago because of how toxic and unfair the meta had become. As a F2P, I just didn't upgrade cards to level 15 faster, or gained access to the new broken evolutions, the little prince or the Dagger Duchess (you were literally at a disadvantage if you didn't use her). My happiness and mental has never been better than after quitting the game. So if you're not having fun anymore, you don't have to play the game.

i feel like the worst part about the new mode is having to upgrade the cards especially the tower troop whom is used in only that mode (which is impossible if you're f2p) to progress and unlock the broken cards which you guessed have to spend money to upgrade and use

I don’t think there’s a less competitive game with a ranking system out there ngl, the top players are just the guys with enough money to keep up with this 100$ per month subscription plan, meanwhile there’s probably so many crazy good players who are just trapped behind a paywall so the game isn’t worth their effort

My buddy saw this coming a while back when the first evolutions came out. Said that Supercell realized this game had exhausted its profitable life span so they started this cash grab that has been going on really since evolutions started. I honestly don't think even they realized it was going to go on for as long as it has, I bet they had imagined people would stop playing CR a couple months ago and then switch over to their new game. I personally have put in my two week's notice with this game, I'm making one last push to Ult Champ while I still can and then deleting, it's not going to be fun anymore when everyone has a level 15 goblin demolisher.

i agree with mostly everything, except for the "play to unlock" part. As most MMO content, for exemple, you need to grind a moderate amount of time to reach the highest equipment tier, like in ESO, RuneScape, Albion, etc. The only real problem with goblin ladder is that, unless you have a bunch of goblins leveled up to at least 13 (and also the goblin queen/baby tower), you wont be able to unlock the machine. But, except for those crucial points, the game is still fun, or at least at the lv11 1v1 mode.

the goblin doesn't like the goblin update. that really gets to show how bad it truly is.

I remember, before 15 level came out, i reached top 10000 at the end of season first time. Because i had finally maxed out my main deck, but then everybody had 15 lvl card and i couldnt even get enough trophies to get to top 10k, even though my skill have risen and lava was good in that meta. Lastly, they added dagger dutchess, right after i spent all my wild cards to upgrade Inferno dragon. I deleted the game yesterday. Maybe its ragequit because of meta, but I dont have other cards maxed out to try other decks anyways.

I dont think i participate in most of the events that use my actual card levels. Which is interesting in that my higher leveled cards cant be given that advantage, but also allows me to play with the new cards in other challenges (i think)

I think a big problem is that the new “game mode” does not even feel like a game mode. It’s just a king tower that shoots goblins sometimes that’s it. There are so many cool things that could have been done like a touchdown or 2v2 ladder. But we got “sometimes your king tower shoots out goblins”

It's 100% relatable and true bruh. They are just ruining the game. As a f2p player playing since 2017 and somehow i got 1 deck maxed to lvl 13 then they add lvl 14 and now worse 15. They remove Wild cards from shop tokens. No f2p way to get evolution quicker and once we get it has beed nerfed.

lucky drops came right when they took wild cards from the season shop. all they did was relocate where you get them and make it so you couldn’t pick between which rarity of wild card you wanted

Spot on points re: cash grabs for evolutions and playability. That's why I deleted my account after the second evo. Sigh. It was a fun time waster until level 14. The imbalanced matchmaking was also frustrating.

The way to make a change is get enough content creators to make videos on they don’t need bad publicity. Also, when they did the update, I lost my main account which I I had since Clash Royale came out and had put years of time into, and I tried to contact customer support to them help me recover my account with my super cell ID and they kept saying they couldn’t help me and putting me back to the stupid AI helper so I gave them a bad review

I left the game weeks before lvl 15 and since then i know i will never play this game ever again. I was like around top 10 000 in the world at some point but i know that now i will never be able to compete without having any evo, any card lvl 15 and no tower troops, like if i would want to play the game again i would be literally forced to pay (my account always was f2p btw) which i dont wanna do. Its such a shame what this game has become the last year or so, truly a pay to win game, pathetic

I quit long ago when CWA said he's no longer gonna support Supercell with this kind of aggressively predatory monetization, but i kept watching the content because it's easier that way, Piratesoftware said it best, protesting by boycott means nothing if you really wanna make an impact quit it, why stick around to the devs that clearly don't care about you, why suffer through these abuse when they clearly never listen anyway. I uninstalled the game a few days ago. I literally grinded like hell in the goblin path so that i can play the new cards. Guss what i can only update them to level 12. And since they don't match in most decks i just get destroyed by people with level 15 card's. If my opponent has the new goblin card's or the Prince and Ram Rider at level 15 i automatically lose. And I'm not a bad player since I've reached Ultimate champion.

The issue is it’s not just supercell, but unfortunately almost every mainstream game on mobile & console follows this update/monthly pass/cash grab model these days. It’s easy to see it with CR because it’s a mobile game, but a lot of the same people who complain about this will also have no problem dropping $100s frequently on the console games that are doing the same thing. Ultimately comes down to which games you like best and what you’re ok with spending money on🤷🏻‍♂️

The fact that people complain and then still play the game is more insane than what supercell is doing and tbh this is why they do what they do

Reason I stopped playing CR mid 2023 and haven't even logged in once. Its soo bad for free to play players and I used to regularly use some money even then I couldn't compete in higher arenas and leagues.

I think the only reason I still play cr is to try and relive the game that it once was, I always remember how much fun I used to have. It’s honestly like a drug at this point, just that it’s not addicting anymore

I have been playing the game for 8 years, I am also a top ladder player and used a lot of what I had saved up to max Dutchess and other evos to compete, but this update makes the top ladder unplayable. It's impossible to push medals without maxing 3 whole new card troops so all free to play (I've bought a pass or two) players need to fork over hundreds to keep competing after playing the game for almost a decade? Interesting

The thing i find the most funny is that if b-rad didnt say anything, no one would be calling this update trash. This update overall was good in a vacuum, but after an entire year of getting railed in the ass by lvl 15 and evolutions (that they decided to make 2 per moth for some reason), and then removing the magic items from the shop....they decide to release 3 new BUSTED cards in row a in the middle of the fucking season. It completely killed my push for this month because there is no way i can get the new cards maxed...if they didnt change stuff in the season shopt maybe i could, but not now. edit: also, lucky drops are trash, we used to have quest that could unlock huge chests

I agree, i was excited for the new goblin mode, I got to 3400 on the goblin journey and I wanted to keep going I’m currently at 3440 and I literally cannot find a game….15 minute wait time and whenever I do get a game and I win I only win 3 trophies 😂. I just close the game out and watch Netflix because there’s literally nothing for me to do. Ladder is impossible for me because I’m free to play and can’t keep up with the meta. I get to 1900 rank trophies and I can’t get further because everyone spams the bridge with the new cards. And trophy road is useless now once you hit 9000. Literally nothing to do 😂

They released a good update where initially u got community rewards and new cards for the goblin game mode, but its such a hassle unless you are level 14 or 15. If they can make rank standard level 11 without making them so locked by levels and money grabbing. Imagine getting an evo u want only to be locked by once a month. evo shards and the evo shards u do get are simply nerfed. Balancing is just a wheel of fortune. Dailies outside of crowns to those maxed out at least SHOULD give gold.

I think basically what we dont like from clash royale is the pay to win scheme. I think they have to change the cash grab scheme to something which dont have connection with winning. Maybe it's design, or you could play adventure mode.... Etc which doesnt involve win

I wish 7x elixir came into the game more often. I used to sit and play it all day when it was available. Now it's only available sometimes in wars where I can only play it 4 times in a day and I can only use different cards. I love how it was fun, chaotic, and it didn't matter if I lost. All the current party modes just aren't chaotic or fun. I still sorta enjoy them but I barely play anymore. I feel like party modes are meant for chaotic, fun play. Why would I want to play a party game mode that is just "Classic Decks"? I spend money on the game every now and then, usually every third battle pass, just to get gold fast and becasue I enjoy the game, and I used to spend tons of time on it, but it's just slowly fading away. Please bring 7x elixir back for the casual community.

Since the developers changed, the game has never been the same, what was cool before was collecting the card in the chest and trying to play and level it up, cards always "balanced" when launched, today they are simple broken that literally change the meta to only that card
