A hurricane is heading for Becca and Rose’s Manhattan apartment.
Disaster Preparedness: Becca spent her day reading about disaster preparedness, fretting over flashlights and buying emergency provisions. Rose prepared for the superstorm by stocking up on wine and getting a tattoo. Becca accepts and expects Rose’s free spirited ways, but when she learns that Rose has been accepted to grad school in California, she realizes that there could be a different kind of disaster on the horizon.

3 things i learned from this film: * disasters more than anything else force strangers to talk to each other (and i'm not just talking about next-door neighbors). * don't play Would You Rather with your lover, it's a trap, you're better off just taking the dare. * oh, so that's where "i'd drink her bathwater" comes from ;) great performances in a nice old-skool-theatre one-act-play faceoff staged in an intimate space which forces the two women to confront each other and the eventual truth. Becca worries about the future, Rose lives for the here and now, something's gotta give. that tattoo though :)

And the entire film makes an impression that seen is a condensation of a real relationship. You're the rock of responsibility unnerved with uncertainty for this flight of fancy female you're fond of. The finale shows her being responsible where it really matters, for your welfare and sort of establishes the dialogue as typical for this relationship.

Cheers for the Video clip! Sorry for chiming in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you considered - Proutklarton Crisis Away Plan (just google it)? It is a good one of a kind guide for surviving and preparing for a disaster without the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my buddy after many years got astronomical success with it.

This was my favorite short I saw at the Palm Springs filmfest. Great job all around.

Rose's attitude made this hard to watch. For years my friends from the tri state area who'ed moved here (VA) for the military would laugh when Hurricanes threatened the area. After one either hit or came close by they never did that again. And in relationships and storms you can prepare, things may be different when they happen.
