Last year was my first year competing in USPSA and Threegun. I had quite a bit of success with several local wins and a few wins in larger matches. USPSA was a little less success. Everything I know is from guys like you. So thanks

More gold! I’ve learned so much from you about practicing. You offer us out here amazing content and creativity for training. I’ve even set up yellow 1/2” pvc poles that sit on 20 penny nails I can position do much easier than barricades. You’ve made me realize that one can not advance or progress until his shooting does. I’m shooting the AXG Pro now and you really need to check this gun out. Totally different recoil impulse than the Legion. I immediately shot it better / easier than the Legion. It’s no gimmick. With brass grips and a trigger job it’s my gun to move forward with! I hope I get to meet you one day. Thanks again, Keith Holcomb Albany , Tx

I just did my first range test with the AXG with brass grips and I agree - I was working really well with my TXG but the Lok brass grips transform the AXG module into a different beast. I was faster and more accurate at everything. I have to spend more time with it but the AXG w/ brass may become my comp set up.

I have my first match of the new year coming up this weekend. This gets me thinking about what I need to work on in the next few days.

@@isaaclockwood1839 I was getting my gear ready and thought maybe I have too much stuff in my bag that I never use. Can you go over what you have in your bag and the gear you use in matches?

I can do this on a future video.

I always try to include transitions thru low, medium to high risk targets in a single string when doing drills. I think if you don’t train that consistently, you won’t have imbedded your limits and instinctively adjust your cadence in a match . I struggled with that a bit when I started and blew up on some stages

Nice, keep pushing limits within each drill you do, and make your "safe" speed faster/more accurate.

Thanks for all the content you make! What ear pro do you use?

🙏 thanks. I mainly use cheap off of Amazon. They fit my ear well and seem to be more effective than any other in-ear I've used.

How much of a difference do that brass mag base pads have compared to a standard +5 extension?
@isaaclockwood1839
@isaaclockwood1839 2 жыл бұрын
It's noticeable for sure. Feels like a full mag before you load it. Plus, the extra weight is in the hand, making felt recoil more manageable IMO.
