When it comes to foundation, most professional MUA would recommend to apply the foundation all the way down the neck to prevent the uneven tone. But if you don’t want to do that, try to swatch the foundation on your neck, jawline or wherever on the skin from your face to your neck. I've found skin prep to be most important with cushions. It's a great foundations, my favourite of all time, but if you don't prep, it's going to look patchy, wrinkly and crease a lot. I do my skincare, finishing off with sunscreen then use a primer after about 20mins, then use a setting spray, then translucent powder on my under eyes, nose and mouth region (where it creases a lot for me) and then go in with a light layer of the foundation and set again with setting spray then powder. It doesn't crease, move or get patchy for me and when I need to reapply sunscreen, I just use setting spray 10-15mins before then go in with my sunscreen stick et voila!

That’s not ur shade or undertone its way too light and cool for you

Agreed. The shade 21W would have been a better choice out of the ones she swatched.

So true! I grabbed this and did a very light pump on the cushion it took a very small amount to get full coverage no oxidation worked on top of my moisturizer and looked great

It does still oxidize, even if you do that. But it definitely shouldn’t oxidize as much as a lot of the reviews online say. That’s why I will add a bit of light and paler concealer on top. It doesn’t affect the coverage from tirtir and I still get all of tirtir's benefits, But it fixes the color. Also for anyone wondering the concealer is very light so no, it does not feel too heavy.

Girl, you're talking about finding the right shade when you literally apply 2 tones lighter... Go figure. 😵💫

Nah this cushion is not for everyone. I have dry skin and cool undertone. And I always do skin prep (no 1 serum and jsm mool cream) but it's still meh. Also even I use the shade 21c which is cool tone , it oxidizes too much. It turns to super yellow. For me JSM is doing better.

thats actually great because i just bought a tirtir cushion foundation ❤😊

with tirtir people recommend getting 1-2 shades lighter because it still oxidises a little!! i think the shade she chose is fine

So you look strange for the first few hours? I don't understand why anyone would ever choose to wear a foundation that oxidizes at all. There are so many really wonderful products that look consistent all day long. Why is everyone trying to adapt to such an unreliable foundation?

You can also just tap the cushion way more gently and pick up less product rather than wasting it on the pallet bc it sets fairly quickly.

Yeah I agree with other commenters 21w is more your shade. You're skin is more warm and the neutral makes you look pale/grey
