It’s not for no reason; it’s because it reminds you of a time period and probably some memories floating around up there that you associate with this song. Mid 2010’s is especially nostalgic for many of the 98-02’s kids. You’re growing up and going through important parts of your life and these things are nostalgic. That’s why they feel that way.

Somebody said they didn't find this original at all.... I don't think they realise how fucking hard it is to make your own future bass chords with unique sounds that are appeasing to the ear. Flume was pretty much the first to bring big drums, orchestral sounds, and future bass together in harmony. He's original. His Skin album is a genre in its own.

This is one of those songs where you remember exactly what you were doing when you first heard it. When I was 19, I had a major depressive episode in January 2014 and had to go to outpatient group therapy for two months. I found this song early into it while laying in bed and associate it with those months of recovery. It still hits like it used to :)
