Good luck with it, hope it works. I actually did have the chaffed wires but my engine fault presented differently. It didn’t rev properly after 3k revs. In the end I got so frustrated I had alive tuning sort it out. They replaced the boost solenoid/actuator and all its little pipes. Then remapped it as it appeared it had been mapped before but according to Alive it may have been a bad map. I’ll never know if it was the map or boost solenoid but it goes very well now and I’m very pleased with it. Also prior to taking it to them I put a new OEM MAF on which helped but did not cure.

Here's hoping the wires were the issue for the power loss, I can definitely recommend fitting a decat pipe to the td5 helps them breath so much better and one less thing to go wrong.

You can bypass the wastegate solenoid and make it the same as a defender td5

changing the air filter to a clean (branded) not cheap 1 will give you 20 bhp straight off got loads of cheap filters here some where need to bin em as they where the cause of my lack of power and black smoke i tend to only use mann filters

Push the EXT for the outside temperature

Run it with the maf unplugged and see if it makes it any better.
