Im a CSA survivor. There are thousands of pictures and videos of me out there from when I was 13. The thought of me appearing on these sites some day terrifies me. This needs to be stopped.

I’m conflicted about how much detail he gave out. Now people who are creeps who didn’t know how to be creeps online might increase the activity of people sharing these sites. God forbid it becomes a parasite in kids servers. But let’s hope the awareness creates a solution.

this sickens me. i have three younger siblings, the youngest being 7 years old and the thought on anyone doing anything even remotley sexual to her makes me feel the most enraged and disgusted i could ever imagine. the fact that people take pleasure in kids and PROFIT off it makes me want to throw up. its honestly disgusting why people do this. even the word "cp" sends shivers down my spine. i was groomed over the internet through instagram at the age of 12 by a 15 year old, and that expierence of only a few months changed my life forever. i hope that one day, sites such as phub will be taken down and sites like discord twitter and reddit will develop stricter rules so no p is allowed.

One scroll through public discord postings and i found some. Its extremely disgusting how people are comfortable doing this shit and just post it on public servers. Instagram had a similar problem with CP a few years back but automated filters on certain phrases or image filters helped cut down CP and Porn in general. Thanks for bringing this to light. I was actually a victim of an attack, I was hacked and my IP was used to send and download this trash. Had the state show up and investigate me and everything. I hope they find a way to block this garbage and end the sharing by these vile POS's.

I always feel so bad for the people who were groomed and taken advantage of as children and were never able to express the danger they were in and are now living in shame and fear. If we could start talking about these things openly I think it would put a huge dent in it and could actually lead to us stopping some of these sick people. But how can these kids, who are now adults or young adults, talk about what’s happening to them when they know they will be made fun of or told it’s their fault for being naive? Children and young adults are naturally naive and they shouldn’t be punished for it or have their experiences dismissed because “they should know better”. I know this isn’t fully on topic but I think of how many people are scared and will never come forward and it breaks my heart.

i actually send malware to people who collect cp along with an ai that will detect and delete it. They always message me back on there alts and are really really mad.

As a tech enthusiast, this is why I got off of social media. It's been flooded with so much spam. The companies that own these sites and servers don't do much to filter out the CP and P links these spammers post. Hopefully, one of these days we could use A.I. to create a bot that will detect and delete these posts from spreading on Discord and other social media platforms. It's getting ridiculous and downright disgusting if you ask me.

sadly, this will never end or be stopped. and not just discord, really all social medias either have the 'groomers' or 'cp' and hardly ever get caught. it's scary and disgusting how common this feels now.

I am a victim of online sexual abuse which happened on discord. Hundreds of pictures of me are probably on some disgusting website or on discord even. It breaks my heart to know that there are so many other victims out there who have to deal with the pain I do. Thank you for spreading awareness.

True. First gore I saw was on Discord, the person who posted it acted like it wasn't a big deal, MULTIPLE people acted like that.

I once reported someone for posting CP and they literally wanted proof the person themself admitted (regardless of the fact it is easily determined that it's a child in the photo) that it was a minor depicted. The even worse part of it is it took them the upside of 4 months to respond to the report and the reply I got was copied and pasted, also asking me for proof where they acted sexually (which I was reporting the posting of cp, not reporting sexual acts) with no attention paid to the fact it was FOUR months. Absolutely deplorable. 4 months is a lot of time for someone who wants to save, trade and sell the photos.

I haven't seen anything this dark, but I do know predators are an epidemic on Discord. I've heard hundreds of first and second hand accounts, and the sad part is, a lot of the kids on Discord now are kind of desensitized to it. I do some free tutoring on Discord for people in communities I game in, I even have met a few parents who insist on paying me. The worst experience I had was when one of the kids I tutored was being stalked and I had to alert his mum about it. The kid was 14 and had been edating a 26 year old man he met in one of the servers. When the kid broke it off, the man started latching onto all the kids friends and before long the kid caved to the social pressure. He'd shared images, videos, identifying information, even his address and school with the man. The man had even been trying to make plans to "meet up." The worst part was what the kid's friends said about the situation after he lost his PC and the truth came out... "He knew his age so he must have wanted it." That's not even to touch on all the gatekept communities out there which attempt to isolate and desensitize the kids who join. Or the creeps who lie about their age to make kids feel more comfortable trusting them. I'd leave the platform entirely if it weren't so important to PC gaming. There are some solid communities out there, with good leadership and moderation, but it's so easy to blur that line. If there are any teens reading this, please avoid gatekept communities. Avoid "edgy" communities with mixed age groups. It is never okay to exchange porn (even gifs) with an adult online, even if just in a text channel and not directed at them. If you're ever wondering if something is okay or not, ask yourself "would it be weird to do this in person?" and if the answer is yes, then it isn't okay. Goes without saying, but no matter how much you trust someone you meet on discord, never give them identifying information, social media, or anything else which has your real name or photos associated with it. If twitter, insta, or snap is important, make an alt associated with your Discord and refrain from doxxing yourself. The adults who would ask for or accept inappropriate images of you are the kind of people who would share them with the servers discussed in this video.

This is why Tumblr ultimately banned NSFW content, because there was an insane amount of CP. That may have to be Discord's response as well. Hopefully, they do whatever is the safest and best for the victims.

I think that a major part of it is also the fact that parents are giving children access to technology at a much younger age now and a lot of these kids have no idea what they are doing

Not to mention the amount of minors’ groomed via Discord server. I was a little surprised you didn’t mention the grooming problem, because it’s not uncommon for the victim’s nudes (CP) to get leaked. God the world gets sicker and sicker by the day. You'd think 'CP' would be getting less frequent but no. There's some sick/twisted individuals out there. I feel physically sick that there's people out there comfortably sending DMs back and fourth that contain such vile things and the sad thing is not much can be done because there will always be messed up people and you can hide through your teeth on the internet.

super horrifying how widespread this is and doubly awful to think about the victims this has affected. having your abuse immortalized and then spread around for all to see without sites ever cracking down on it effectively is one of the worst things that an already-traumatized child could go through. the telegram epidemic has gotten so bad that i even run into these links on twitter sometimes. i have so much sympathy for every victim that has been affected by this awful situation, i just hope that some day we can exist on an internet completely free of child abuse material.

i once did the same, clicked on a unkown link thinking like you that i was okay since i had my vnp on, and then it got me on a site exactly like you described, poorly coded html site with gif playing in the middle changing every 2 second on a white background. the difference is that those video where in full hd 60fps or more. it was horrible, i couldnt stop thinking about it, i couldnt get those image out of my mind. as of today, i got the help i needed and i am all good. I just wish no one see things like that, its just horrible. thanks you for raising awareness on things like that and i wish that one day maybe, the cp problem get fixed.

Ive realized twitter has a massive problem with this as well. Any link to P that you look on, at some point you will stumble upon it. Luckily, recently twitter has done a couple things to combat this by removing the ability to look at these hashtags that has CP on them, but people still find ways around it by adding another letter after the hashtag or something like that that bypasses it enough where they can just keep posting and profiting off of these. It's awful and disgusting.

Not gonna lie I think this video was made in good faith but has bad consquences. All you really did was educate people on how to find the stuff. The FBI already knows this stuff and this info. And if you are on the internet you gotta have a little common sense if you see something like 13-17 or the 18+ emoji then not to click on it. By giving 700k people (and growing) the info to find this sort of stuff you are accidentally and unfortunately getting some people INTO it. You didn’t give people a way to solve the problem or a cause to action (cause there isn’t anything we can actually do.) I truly think this video is gonna cause more harm then good in the long run

CP in general is sickening. A kid at my old school a bit ago looked it up on his SCHOOL laptop apparently. Seeing this getting passed around discord though, is extremely unsafe, especially when it comes to the amount of adults that use discord. Truly hope discord will find a way to block links leading towards sites like that.

So a few years ago, I used to make fully functional discord servers for people, I was very very good at it and I even educated people on keeping everything functioning and how to repair them. I did it for years, and even had people pay me to do it until the very last time I ever did it.. I made friends with this really friendly chatty guy in a discord server, he was hoping to make a server for his friends and needed my help; (At this point I knew him for a few months) so I offered to help, I usually asked people to pay me when it was done so they could see everything working. (If they scammed me I could still scrap it all so that never happened) Once the server was finished, I showed him everything he requested and educated him on how they worked as I usually would, it was then that we moved onto the channel names that things took a dark turn.. he asked me to change the channel names for him but I just gave him the perm for that so he could do it whilst I just made tea and relaxed, when I came back with my tea, I was fucking horrified, he had renamed channels into a bunch of cp related fetishes and started posting a bunch of it. I instantly just nuked the server, which means I couldn't report what he posted... I wish I just reported it but I panicked so much I didn't think in that moment, it's been 3/4 years since that happened and I'm still regretting not having evidence to report him. Please please report before making my mistake!!!

Once I was just minding my business, chatting or whatnot, and someone sent links which automatically turned into some videos of stuff like people being beheaded, private parts getting cut off/damaged a lot, and other stuff. I pinged the moderator and I got banned, even though all I did was notify him that someone was raiding...

i remember coming across one of the servers that sold cp for money, it was an old server that had a lot of members probably 3-4k, the owner had posted some of the vids as a sample which i did not open but it was clear what it was i reported the server, sent its invite link to discord team with the owner's id next morning, that server was nowhere to be found, probably got deleted or something idk but im glad that i reported it

It is sad that this is the world we live in, with people who are so evil and do such horrible things to people and get away with it. It is so sickening to think that these people could be walking next to you every single day. But as my parents always said about the internet, for everything that is good, there is always something bad. And the sad part is that when these sick individuals are caught, they get very little jail time, one of my neighbors down a couple of blocks was involved with cp and I didn't even know it but remember, they can't hold their inner demon in too long and I was suspicious that he had groups of girls at his house and not long later, a bunch of undercover cops and sherrif deputys came at 4 in the morning and he was arrested. But he bailed out the same day and acted like nothing was wrong, even know he was on every news channel. Only got 2 years of jail time. Which is not enough at all. People get way longer jail time for simpler crimes that don't hurt nobody, but someone who scars a C for their life gets away with it. It just sickens me.

Discord is a privacy nightmare for every user. Apparently to detect and ban users that spread CP. You see how well that works... Back to the old but gold TeamSpeak.

Knowing p*dos have images and videos of me from when i was 10-14 is the uncomfortable feeling ever. Growing up on discord is one of the worst things i can think of. Sometimes I think about how I feel I should have known better but i remind myself it started when i wasn't even in puberty.

Im going to correct you on a few things. Mega is not just a cp website so if it makes sense that you are receiving a file for like a mod or maybe an emulator mega is usually fine I personally use it to back up my phone and computer with all of my 3d modelling and mod files for games. Another thing is the 18 with the slash through it is usually used to indicate that the content is 18+ but thats the emoji they are working with. A twitter artist with the 18 emoji is probably not a pedo they just draw NSFW content and dont want anyone younger than 18 to click on their profile. Either way anyone on nofap should probably avoid those accounts but they are not illegal usually. Also if you did not copy the link to the page and immediately exited DO NOT go near where it was to report it. Im no lawyer but i think its worse to have repeat visits to the site/server than to not report it as far as a legal defense goes.
