I remember it used to show when I would stream on Discord and I was not affiliated/partnered. Don't really see the point in it being removed. This would be a good way to grow your channel and make connections.

THIS IS HOW I DID IT! 🎉🥳🥳 : 1. Launched OBS with Administrator rights ; - Launched Discord with Administrator rights ; 2. Started Broadcasting ; - Waited about 5 minutes ; 3. Right during the broadcast : - Disconnected Discord from all of my Twitch accounts that I have ; - Connected Discord to my Main Twitch account. I also manually added OBS to Discord's "Registered Games" as a temporary solution before doing all of the above (this may also have an impact on the final results).

I’m having the same problem with KZfaq livestream status. I don’t even know if it’s officially supported, but it acts very weirdly. The status works fine intermittently for about a minute, then goes away for 5 minutes and returns for a minute and the cycle repeats.

This has 100% happened to me after when streamer mode would be on when I'm not on. After so many on and off of having to fight the streamer mode and the whole status thing is broken for me. Even today.

I stream to twitch regularly through the week, and it never gives me the live status its so frustrating because alot of people look to that to see if im live.

I also have the same issue with my KZfaq stream. I've reached out with discord support and all the solutions they gave still didn't work.

I know non affiliate streamers and the discord status shows for them. I'm a non affiliate streamer but the status doesn't work for me. Have you found any fix for this?

the thing is is that i have affilate but not partner and i was suddenly undable to get the streaming status witch is actively harming my ability to do things without having to spend more time in the setup faze manualy sending out alerts for a stream and to this day i dont get this and its more or less just seems like they broke it and dont want to fix it

What about if you stream from your PS five to KZfaq

for me it only works if i use streamlabs obs and the normal obs doesn't work. I have 35 followers on twitch so doesn't matter if you are affiliate or partnered

Can you appear as "streaming" status on discord laptop when you stream on twitch through a mobile device?

in other words for people like myself who dont care about making money and just want to stream for fun are screwed unless i take one of twitches bs programs thats fucked and discord needs to change that

I had the same issue as you. Yagbot discord help told me it was discords issue and there was nothing they could do.

What's the point of removing it tho? Does it cost anyone anything? .. no? Even the smallest of features being taken away for people just getting started. I suppose we earned the right as an affiliate??

Hi, i think i found out how to get the streamer thing to show up Go to your settings > connections > click on the twitch logo it should open an internet window of your twitch account being linked to your discord and asks something to confirm and when confirmed it should work Tell me if it works and i'll delete my comment if not
