I like the idea of you maxing out the 5% category by buying a thousand dollars worth of furnace filters. But if it's something you'll use eventually, why not. I'm not sure I'd maximize the categories every quarter, but I'm sure I could use some of the 10% categories.

Ha I had to buy some other stuff too, lawn mower, edger etc. Filters were to prevent me from buying GCs which I'm trying to not do as much. Like you said, i will use them at least

I think everyone genuinely realizes this but most people are emotion-based vs. logic-based. They dislike Trump or they were told to dislike Trump and they would rather struggle and have their family have a lower quality of life/safety so long as DJT isn't in office. No one said humans are rational.

Covid wasn't a thing under most of trumps presidency, and regardless of the inflation caused by the pandemic, many are unwilling to vote for republican because of how the party is turning into the religious right, with their moves on abortion and such.
