Welcome to North Hollywood, which has one of the most vibrant art districts in Los Angeles. There are 22 live theatres in the city, including El Portal Theatre, which was built in 1926. Visit exhibits in the Lankershim Arts Center. Shop on NoHo Antique Row and take a gander at the Great Wall of Los Angeles, the longest art mural in the world. I've been looking at North Hollywood apartments! My last trip to L.A I stayed in North Hollywood in an Air BNB..I LOVED it! There was a Target in walking distance & any other store we needed to get to,was within walking distance,which means a lot to a New Yorker lol. As soon as I save enough money I'm out of NYC to L.A on the next thing smokin!

NoHo is a thriving super friendly area ! Conveniently placed and in reach of everything. My fiancé just moved there and it won’t be long until I join her - love it !

Brian Mann North Hollywood is ghetto

@@anybodykillers5095 Yeah the northern part of NoHo is a little ghetto, the southern part (Toluca Lake) is alright. Areas like Northridge are nicer though, but NoHo is better located, because it isn't far from Downtown LA.

Bev Carr Hi just curious to know what you thought about North Hollywood because I am from Jersey the east coast as well. I was stationed in California but got a chance to only see bits and peaces of California. I loved what I saw seemed like lots to do. I receive info for miltary people that they have communities for military to buy houses at cheaper prices. They are about to start excepting for North Hollywood and I know as for me buying a house without this program for military in California would not be able to because it's expensive in California for buying a house. Just wondering if this could be a blessing in disguise to have a chance to buy a house in a military commmunity in North Hollywood. Thanks in advance. Also would it be an area for raising kids?
