I love the Adobe Southwest/Northern Mexican vibes with the architecture. A beautiful winery. Oooh that wine tasting got me going. The colorful looking pancakes? Those looked cool. The room seemed cozy enough as well.

The design was amazing! The owner was there and she explained to us how much time she put into studying and selecting the design. And yes those were colorful pancakes!

The hacienda you stayed at looked beautiful - and that pool would be incredible. That breakfast place looked amazing! Now I'm hungry. The winery art was awesome, and wine tasting is always fun. I would love to try this trip one day - Mexico is one of my favourite places. I need to figure out how to get Global Entry! Amazing to skip THAT line!

The hacienda is gorgeous! I definitely want to go back and see it after the completion of the pool which just happened a few weeks ago. And I believe from Canada, you can sign up for Nexus where you can use that Global Entry/Sentri line as well to cross from Mexico to the US! Saves so much time!

Hacienda San Jose has a lovely Spanish vibe. I remember similar places in the Philippines which strongly show the Spanish influence. I'm sure you had a great time with all your wonderful wine tasting and food tripping. ¡Feliz cumpleaños, Kita!

I really enjoyed the look and feel of Hacienda San Jose. The owner explained that the decor inspiration came from another region of Mexico. She definitely took time with the design. And I had a great time. Muchas gracias!

This seems like it was a super cool exploration and tour. The food looked yummy as well. Never been to Tijuana. Always heard unsettling things. But based upon your experience, please advise, did it seem safe?

Mexico is pretty safe from my experiences there. I have been there several times and I haven’t encountered any safety issues. Yes there are parts of Mexico that aren’t the best. But that is with any country you may visit. And compared to the US (where I’m from), Mexico is safer.
