Coming up in and around the city this weekend, and the coming week.
A busy weekend and one not to miss down the road in Bang Saen this weekend is the Bang Saen Grand Prix. The biggest racing festival of the year which transforms Bangsaen Beach and the surrounding streets into a street race circuit. A great experience and entrance is completely free.
Back in Pattaya and on Saturday night, that's the 6th July, is the Mid-year Souled Out Night party. Enjoy an evening of Motown and Northern soul, again taking place at the Caddyshack on Thepprasit Soi 8. Entry is just 500 baht per person for a a 2 hour free flow of drinks. The party starts at 8pm and it's all for a good cause as the proceeds will go to the Take Care Kids foundation.
Sunday will see the return of the Sunday lunch buffet extravaganza over at the Movenpick Siam Hotel in Na Jomtien, with a new special price of just 1,999 baht ++ per person which includes Oysters, Rock Lobster, Wagyu beef, cold cuts and more. That's 12-3pm at the New York Grill Room. The cost includes a welcome drink, soft drinks, and a grilled Canadian lobster. Sunday, the Outback Sports Bar & Restaurant on Soi Siam Country club will have their Sunday roast carvery. Your choice of meats, with all the trimmings, for just 495 baht. They're showing all the sports matches on their large screens, and a great place to take the kids too, as they have both a play area and a gaming area.
Saturday night is curry night at the Loft Pub out by the lake. Enjoy beef, chicken or lamb curry with all the trimmings for only 325 baht.
Monday the 8th July until Wednesday the 10th will see the Pattaya Mixology & Flair Open '24. That's the biggest bartending competition in Pattaya, and will be taking place over at the Central Mall.
And last but not least, Monday night is quiz night over at Hemingway’s Jomtien. Lots of fun, free-to-enter, free half-time snacks, and cash prizes up for grabs too. Everyone is welcome to join, and that kicks off at 7:30pm every Monday evening.
