Amazing video. Would add one additional element and that is to pay attention to the existing soil. Adding humus/compost is certainly important but conditioning your starting position is even more important. Example: seed alfalfa and other cover crops to get it to rip the existing soil apart. Four feet deep roots will help structure the existing soil.

Great point! A soil test can also show the levels of calcium, if that is low and magnesium is high it will compact easily. I make calcium acetate using vinegar in lime, I think it makes it more accessible than only lime.

The human body is made up of approximately 40 different elements. If the elements aren't in the soil then they can't be in the food so your body cannot get what it needs for optimum health. There is an old book called "The Ruth Stout no work gardening book". Miss Stout is long gone but the book is a classic. KLT
