I haven’t tried every single brand by any means, but these past two years I’ve been a little infatuated with my Milwaukee folding utility knife. It’s just muscle memory to grab it off my pocket or belt, hit that button and wrist-flick it open. I guess the fact that it’s the one tool that seems to always follow me all the way into the house at the end of the day and make it to the “habidashery” drawer in my closet says something.

Lenox retractable has been my go to for a few years now. They seem to hold up pretty well they’re comfortable in the hand and they’re painted white so they are way easier to find because nothing else is white in my toolset

I call it the simple, yet most dangerous- for me it's the most stable blade, and I try not to use them at all- Japanese scissors are my go-to cutting tool they are amazing

I always love your videos. Would love to see episode on adjustable countersinks and self centre drill bits. I’m a Carpenter from Australia and my favourite utility knife is the Stanley fatmax.

For heavy use, I like the Stanley Titan with a retractable blade and holster. My everyday knife is a Stanley folder with a skeleton frame and again retractable blade....it's hi vis green and very easy to find. I've had a look around the workshop and so far I have found 18 assorted knives (nearly all Stanley) and I'm sure I have some more scattered around in various toolboxes. As a point of interest, in the UK, we generally refer to any utility type knife as a Stanley knife...they were the original and still the best in my opinion.

I really like my Milwaukee one, blades are easy to change and it has few extra features, like wire stripper. It has a smaller handle so it is more compact. It is obviously red, so it makes it easier to find

Stropping, why didn't I think of that? Still have a box cutter in the shop from my dad's freight company (50+ years ago). I keep a bunch of those cheep Harbor Freight $1 adjustable small breakaway knifes every where. I also have an 18mm adjustable breakaway knife for foam cutting as well.

@sedgetool 2nd favorite is the same Olfa, my favorite, going on 12 years now, is the Lenox retractable quick change, (20353SSRK1), it is a tough knife, like the dolphin is, but a more comfortable size. The nose is hardened and you can hammer on it if you need to. Who hammers on their knives.?
