Today I got my Yawman Arrow Controller, and just finished setting it up for ATS. I will set it up with MSFS tomorrow morning.

Definitely enjoyed spad but I agree $250 is a little steep and no iOS support is a show stopper.

Are the 2 bottom sliders (round head) made in metal ? Because popping out like this, if they are in plastic they won’t survive the first week.

@@EGGUZMAN A reasonable price for this device could be between 60 and 80 dollars, at most even 100 if the materials are well finished... thinking of offering it on the market at 249 dollars means nipping it in the bud, not wanting to sell it, or being crazy!! ! And even crazier would be the one who decided to buy it for 249 dollars!!!

To pay $250 dollars for a product that shouldn't cost more than $39 dollars is INSANE! It's nothing more than an XBox controller with a few more features. I have a bridge to sell anyone who thinks the price for this XBox controller is worth the cost. Good video and to each their own.

this is a really cool controller but at that price it should use hall effect joysticks /triggers/sliders . its just a matter of time the pots in this start to drift and become unusable

I would agree with that with the exception of the mini yoke.. this definitely is more for the mobile pilot or someone on a laptop but I believe it does have a place

I also use an Elite 2 Controller, but it is 50% heavier than the Yawman Arrow. And on a long flight those 50% counts. The price is now $199.00, I got a $50 refund.

If you watch the MS Live Stream on Twitch, you can see how the guy is dying inside a bit as the MS guy pointing out that they put the trim wheel on the wring side. 🙂

I think the idea behind the Yawman Arrow is very interesting, but this first offering doesn’t look like a home-run. It’s as expensive as a Logitech X56, and is technologically behind other cheaper gamepads, lacking huge quality of life features such as wireless operation. I think something like a Turtle Beach Velocity One stick, or a VKB Gladiator might have it beat feature-wise, even though more bulky than a gamepad.

The Yawman Arrow is handheld. You are comparing it to tabletop accessories. I am extremely glad it is not as heavy as my Xbox controllers.

Albeit a very nice and intuitive design, the use case of the consumer does not justify the price point that has been tagged. Offering a 1 year guarantee is the only thing being offered by a new dev/manufacturer is a big no no. That is the basic thing offered here in the uk so very sceptical. On top of that the plastic looks like it will turn that nasty yellow baked on colour after a while. The casual flight simmer might have a use case but again they should be put off by the price.
