Welcome to La Halle de la Machine, in Toulouse (France). Here, the rope access and the work at height take on a completely different meaning than usual, it serves a monumental artistic dimension.
Monumental because the machines that are at the heart of the show are set in motion by operators, are enormous and sometimes weigh several tons. Monumental because you will never have seen anything like this majestic and magical combination of mechanics, dance air, and music.
This unique cultural approach is inspired by the dynamics of street performance and can only surprise, impress and move. Adult or child, we all find ourselves tiny compared to these animated "monsters" and we let ourselves be carried away by the wave of the story they tell us…
For the stagehands and all the performers who take part in this mind-blowing spectacle, height and verticality are everyday life and they spend most of their time wearing a harness, lanyards or moving on ropes. And it's not for nothing that they chose to do it with Petzl equipment!
