I am getting old but the horse trail looks good to me. That will tell you a little about one person watching, enjoying your videos. Most of the riders I know would not dare, except for the ones I have taught. No one taught me, I had the high mountain scent of elk in my nose and a good horse. He is now riding the high places without me.

To EC, I believe there were earlier explorers and lots of Lieutenants with Escalente, Dominguez and Coronado, different trips. The E and D went up through western Colorado, (Douglas Pass NW of GRand Juction through Rangely) and no less than the edge of the Unitas. They scouted and most likely left mining crews behind and a trail plan for the future set up of the missions to transport and protect as much traffic as possible. It had its up and downs over several huntred years and that is why there are so many storys, trail signs, traces and buried treasure. They may have had some of the same information Columbus had before he sailed by connection of the Portugese Royality and the Knights Templar. The Tempar did get to the west but how return information got back is questionable. No one has figured out the Egyptian connection either but the Templar may have had knowledge for thier old connections in Egypt.

Ya got the first 2 tracks right. The last one is a front coon foot. Badger tracks look like grizzly (only smaller) bear tracks that are pigeon toed. Claw marks show up good though. Excellent video

Great videos. Used to love the exploring AZ. Very interesting history there with Spanish. Every see or hear of bigfoots or strange things out there ? Saw another video of guys in those mountains showing cast of bigfoots.

Just subscribed! Thanks for sharing your adventures. A code of ethics and exploring etiquette is rare these days... It sets a good example for the younger generations to get out and explore while being respectful and leaving only footprints. I can't tell you how many pictographs and petroglyphs I have seen defaced over the years destroying the history of the written languages. Being a creator is a challenge and is a struggle sometimes, looking forward to watching your channel grow 😎

I like the music in all of your videos. Happens to be rather pleasing to me as i watch. I am a fellow marker hunter in extreme western colorado. I do believe the Spanish were in Utah well before any documented entrada such as Juan D Maria in his twin entrada's of 1765 followed by the 2 padre's in 1776. I believe a logical answer is perhaps all the codices were not burned. And perhaps besides codices there were record the Spanish found after the conquering of the Aztecs that lead to the Unitah's. They would have had to have guides and or a really good map to get there. The Ute's were interested in trading but according to Juan D Maria's journal they tended to avoid the other tribes to keep trading exclusive with the Spanish. As far as the evidence as far as artifacts go....we know the average foot soldier paid for most of his armament and that's would have been more apt to be padded leather. Only the elite or wealthy could afford armor...especially equestrian armor. Cannons were not cheap either. I have heard ship board signaling cannons were the most likely to have been carried around. Larger cannons would suggest a rather good knowledge of the journey as a horse would have had to haul that heavy weaponry in. Santa Fe did manufacture cannons but i have yet to dig up any official records as to whom and when the casting was going on. I have seen a few areas where i think the old markers have newer markers placed on top of or next to the ancient ones. Tree's were probably used if the mining activity rarely stopped as tree's can die...fall over by high wind etc. or go up in smoke so i would think there would still have to be some sort of subtle stone markers to confirm or back up the tree's as it only makes logical sense.

Thankyou for another video, I am interested to hear of any thoughts or proof of Francisco Pizarro venturing that far , the conquistadors I understand Cortez attacked the Aztecs and went that far, Francisco Pizarro attacked the Incas. Both or all Conquistadors were seeking gold. Curious to hear which Conquistadors ventured that far. Truely a beautiful land. Basinite, which areas of the high Uintahs would you recommend to explore for discovering cannon balls ? 2) Aside from the Spanish, have you seen evidence of other countries/cultures exploring the Uintahs such as Romans, Vikings, Egyptians, etc?
