Fun fact: classic Halo CE, classic Halo 2 and Halo 3 cutscenes all take place within the game world. They don’t all cutoff into a prerendered video. So Miranda keys being in that pelican is there for when you return to the control room and see the bomb before going to save some marines. Also in classic Halo 2, you can see what weapons you’re holding while in a cutscene

On Halo 2, on delta halo, after taking out the two wraiths before entering the building with stairs to get to the scarab, the pelican that drops off the marines, you can get in it and it'll take you off the map. It'll crash and you'll fall out of it. It'll float around and it'll say "Hold X to flip banshee" and you can fling yourself sky high by flipping the pelican

That's the case for all of the games with the exceptions of Halo wars, H2A, the epilogue cutscene of h4, and the intro and epilogue cutscenes of h5.

I saw this in a rocket sloth video Miranda is there for when Johnson sets up the bomb she’s on the big screen talking to him and if you have 2 players one can run around Miranda and it’ll appear on the screen if someone is there to watch it It’s pretty funny

Prior knowledge has basically carried me to this point. I used to relentlessly test things in campaign and multiplayer back in the day. And now I’ve done so many tricks that I basically know how to do anything for the most part. And you actually find a lot of tricks while trying to do other tricks.

Fun fact, use acrophobia. You'll see the "hidden character" is Miranda Keyes after you return to Ops as Sgt Johnson is setting up a bomb... it's where Bungie put her for that particular scene

I’ve been trying to do this trick since probably 2010, here and there. But this took 2 weeks of trying almost every day. I would say if you’re counting failed attempts, well over 1,000. This was the most excruciating trick we’ve ever done, bar none.

The bottom half of the door has an invisible barrier. You need to crouch into the top of it. Also, you need a second player to hit a checkpoint later in the mission for this to trigger. So after completing the hangar, you need a second person to walk through the mission

Yes, you can just fly onto the spirit and armor lock and then fly over. Have to hold armor lock at the back of the spirit.

I think that's an offmap character placeholder for the video brieffing after clear the hangar bay and meet Miranda Keyes via video call. The method is similar to character offmap for Breen cast in Half life 2.

Not even worth it, halo3 was such an awful cock tease with trying to Explore ! There was one trick I did back in ‘09 where the two Scarabs were but you take the Mongoose and ride up the side of the mountain and find a random marine near the outside of the Map
