This is one of the most unique destinations in all of Canada. Drumheller, Alberta is home to the world's largest deposit of DINOSAUR BONES. From deep canyons to sandstone hoodoo's, you're also in one of the most beautiful landscapes in the country. Join me and my Dad for a tour around some of the main attractions of Drumheller like the Hoodoo's Trail, Atlas Coal Mine, The Royal Tyrrell Dinosaur Museum, Horse Thief Canyon and lunch in a real saloon in a town of 27 people! This is definitely a place to put on your Canada Travel Bucketlist because there's just no other place in the world like it. Hope you enjoy the video!!

SafetyWing (best for younger travelers + digital nomads): www.safetywing.com/a/alinamcleod
I use both of these companies depending on the destination and requirements of entry. If you are going to be abroad for a long time and/or don't need as much coverage, I would recommend SafetyWing. BUT you cannot purchase SafetyWing WHILE in Canada or USA. You can only purchase once already abroad. Hey Mondo is more expensive but offers a higher level of coverage including plans that have trip cancellation/interruption insurance. Hey Mondo would be the better insurance to use if you need travel medical insurance when applying for a visa. Both companies cover covid. I am an affiliate for both companies, but I pay for my own policies.

Oh, this video was awesome! That Tyrell dinosaur museum is super cool, and I want to go there. There is a dinosaur named after Alberta, Albertasaurus. A smaller Tyranasaurid. I have a shark tooth collection, a Megalodon tooth from North Carolina and a Cretaceous ers Cretoxyrhina shark tooth from Russia, and another tooth from just after the K-T extinction event. Awesome video! Please make more, Canada has some cool places.👍😊🇺🇸🇨🇦

Alina, have really enjoyed your travels with your dad. My wife, my oldest daughter and her then boyfriend visited Drumheller way back in 2003, remember sitting eating lunch by one of those giant statues of a dinosaur. We visited the Tyrell Museum but did not do any of the walks as we ran out of time. We were there at the end of August. Three years ago I travelled through the area with a Canadian farming friend from the Frazer Valley on our way to an international farming event in Minnesota. Know we travelled very close to Drumheller and some of the places you travelled in Saskatchewan . Even travelled past a little town that has the same name as my surname . Trip was also done at this time of the year. Your videos make me want to come back to Canada.

Check out the close up bison, elk, beaver, and moose along the spectacular trails of Elk Island National Park (6th oldest national park in Canada). From these herds others have been repopulated such as Banff National Park and Grasslands National Park. The Cree name is Amiskwaciy (meaning, Beaver Hills). Astotin Lake at Sunset is spectacular.

Nice tour, Alina. Hoodoos are sandstone formations resulting from erosion. Harder upper areas of the rock strata erode slower than softer rock that's underneath, creating these formations that look like modern sculptures, or scenes from a science fiction movie.🙂

I think we all relax just knowing you will always share these places, and I think everybody has the same thoughts about going to places not known by many of the regular population. It made your success and wonderful times you experience by doing that, and we all know it. You have to be the best driver in finding and sharing that dream, you are the best. Would love to be around people that spend hours putting those bones back together, that in itself has to be very time consuming but worth it for sure. Stay safe, keep smiling and please thank your Dad how much we all appreciate his being with you for this wonderful road trip you did together. Hats off to both of you from Michael & Alona!!! This video makes me ashamed that I haven't explored this area, even though I only live a few hours drive away. All I've ever done is gas up there a few times and say I've got to check all this out, and then it doesn't happen. Every place you showed I was aware of, but have never actually visited. Your video convinced me that I've got to spend three days and do it right. The footage you took just reminded me of world class areas on my doorstep, that I've neglected. The Ennio Morricone reminiscent and sixty era western TV series themed music perfectly meshed with your visuals. Another enjoyable video.

Alina, thank you for posting another great video on Canada. I use to travel to Canada in the good old days when Canadian border security would just rip your car apart and then walk away and tell you "welcome to Canada", have great time repacking your suitcases and reinstalling your seats back in your car. Unfortunately, I accidentally dropped a bubblegum wrapper on the ground here in the US and am now not able to enter Canada since I have such an extensive criminal history...I live in the southwest USA and winter time I would say at least 15% of all vehicles have BC, SK, AB,etc plates, I guess its not to much of a problem crossing this side of the border...Matt
