Analyzing the last test run of Saito FA180 with DLE 35/55 carb, and checking it again, I came to the conclusion that the carburetor from the DLE engine was not entirely predictable, and I had no desire to spend more time mastering it. I decided not to invent a bicycle, and installed a well known carburetor from the Saito FG21 engine, assuming in advance that they had a much better chance of being "friends" with each other.
I invite you to look at the results of this new test, you will really see a lot of interesting and unusual things. There are definitely a couple of openings.

Another interesting video from crazyengines, I like that you even tested various glow plugs, i see excessive leaning to get a glow plug to keep engine running, not really good for the engine, but i understand this is all for experiment. I would like to see how well this engine can run on its original carburettor withoutany modifications, and then the final step to use a cdi ignition, .great video and enjoy the research Please check out rc universe for a thread ( electronic solution to converting glow engines) plenty of great information, Brutus there has an aray of extremely useful conclusions

You're totally right, I collection a lot of information during my experimentations with engines, especially in the direction of methanol to gas conversion. Core task with Saito FA180 was to find the simplest and effective way of engine conversion, to avoid timing flanges, ignition modules, spark plugs and batteries, so all this stuff, which increasing engine setup weight. It's very important to me, to get my own, experimentally confirmed knowledge and experience. Thank you, and have a nice day !
