yeah; like I heard from one FUNNY milanese - and there are plenty of milanese with a funny bone and pleasant social skills, I won't deny that - milan used to have the feel of a posh village despite its million inhabitants; but from the 80s onwards, the only purpose left to go to milan is for buying borsette and scarpette [purses and shoes]

it's a heavily populated area. I have a canal running through my property, plenty of privacy and relaxation, no traffic noise, no neighbouring houses. how can you find navigli pleasing, everything is so UGLY!!
