With TWICE you don't want to rush into determining your bias. There is absolutely no wrong choice. However, you also have to accept that when you do pick a bias that at least one of the other members will bias wreck you in every new video.

Just a lil info from a kpop veteran, a leader has nothing to do with what parts they take in the music, and everything to do with organization, communication, and leadership. Here are some examples of what a leader's role and responsibilities are: The leader acts as the bridge between the company and the group and will collect the members' opinions and thoughts to relay those to their company directly. The company will also in turn relay instructions and information regarding the whole to the leader, who then relays it to the members. The leader acts as a public speaker and while not the only speaker, is often in charge of keeping things flowing, introductions, and official statements. If an interviewer or staff has a question it is often the leader's role to answer. The leader is in charge of keeping the members in line and on track during for example dance practices. The leader will call out the members to get started, to gather up, to focus when they get distracted. The leader is often times tasked with keeping the harmony in the group. If two members are having issues the leader may try to figure out solutions or compromises to resolve the issues. The leader may call out anyone acting out of line. The leader is also responsible for making sure the members needs and well-being are prioritized. As the words of JYP; the leader will give up the good things for themselves to give to their members first. If there are 4 spoons but 5 members the leader will give the spoons to everyone but themselves. If there are good props for a photoshoot they will make sure the members use them and not themselves. The leader's role in kpop groups is one of burden, sacrifice, and responsibility. It is a tough job, but it ensures the group working like a well-oiled machine. Jihyo was chosen as a leader instead of Nayeon (the oldest), for multiple reasons, through an anonymous vote by the members. One is she is a natural leader. Jihyo has an insanely long training time (10 years) and was much more familiar with the company and the industry than most of the members. Jihyo was also voted for because she encompasses all of the qualities jype requires of their idols the most. She has integrity, sincerity, and honesty, and is arguably one of the hardest workers.
