113th National Day of Bhutan | 5th Kings' Speech
The 113th National Day in Punakha was celebrated for the great leadership of the Due Sum (three eras-past, present and the future), with special focus on the forces, which took efforts in securing our nation.
His majesty the 5th king addressed the nation on national television channel ''BBS". 4th King His Majesty Jigme Singye Wangchuck and his holiness tulku Jigme Choida along with other royal families were also present to mark the important day.

Milan please don’t raise an issue without knowing the facts.. our king is an enlightened being and he and his forefathers are true Buddhist followers with a sympathetic heart. They would never hurt others without it be justifiable by Buddhist teachings. If it’s wrong to chase out illegal immigrants, tell me one holy city or leader who hasn’t for the well being of their people. Further they revolted and they are thus classified as anti-national( in modern terms terrorist ). Every nation kills terrorist but we at-least spared their lives. Be grateful.
