Discovery 2 TD5 Performance Intercooler Install

Hi Dean! Rear chassis quarters . . . Yuk! My Disco is on the ramps now and I'm having a poke about and debating wether or not to change the whole quarter or just have the rusty bit done. There is a company in Tiverton, Devon, that will change the rear quarter for a new one for the princely sum of £651. That sounds like a bargain to me. A run out to Devon, a couple of days off and come back with a new rear quarter! Don't know. It's a real pain removing the tank and towbar, which will have to come out regardless of which job is done. I bet that intercooler was a job to squeeze in! Not a lot of spare room in there! Is that the original fan on your condensor?

Hiya pal. £651 seems too good yo be true. Bit of a trek tho. Dixon fabrication have a few option's on there web site you can get a budget version for 200 quid which is tack welded? You just just need to weld up yourself. The intercooler dropped straight in tbh. Yes that's the original AC fan, seized of course!
