How great to see all detecting & saving this history. Anita's find at 14.50 is a hand/finger guard for a 17th/18th century short sword, would of been attached from the quillon to the pommel

Amazing array of finds

Bravo Unearthed,have just enjoyed,your latest film on the return to the Iron Age farm,within a week,it is a corker,from the beautiful blue patina of the first hammered through the dragoness brooch,the miserable looking figurine,the well weathered Roman Bronze coin,the stunning hammered bust of `Lizzie the warmth of Anita`s commentary on the virtues of metal detecting a wonderful account of the the day`s activity,keep em coming.

That figure is a pilgrims badge! Combined with the ampular may explain the activity there.. maybe an ancient religious site. That brooch from last week is astonishing! The farm is the best I’ve seen you all on, an historic unearthed farm.. very nice to hear from Anita 😊
