One of the mining laws in Alaska that's still in a ffext today is if any one messes with your equipment weather's it's sluicebox or large mining equipment you have the right to defend your property at all costs and I mean at all costs. Don't mess with gold miners.

I would think stepping on your claim and stealing stuff would be grounds for them losing there mining rights & be removed from the area forever. now you know you can not trust this other crew and have to keep a eye on them ..
