4:02-4:10 always gets me fired up. He's a real leader. After so much development and growth this is final form Jake. I can imagine a younger Sig saying that exact line lol. Outstanding stuff.

It's like entering a bar, you time it, wait for the right set, and surf it in. As the wave pushes faster than the boat, the natural tendency is for the boat to carve and turn broadside, as it does, the next wave usually punches it back on course. I've done it a few times, Jake did it exactly how he should have, he wasn't even close to danger.

Didn’t look like he narrowly missed the Harbor Wall to me. Looked like came into port like he’s done it a 1000 times.

We had to do the same thing with some engine parts for another boat in our fleet. We used a bunch of trash bags to keep them dry, tied up the bundle and heaved it over the side with a few buoys lashed to it, we motored on and left them to fish it out.

Jake needs to be careful to get into Dutch or into Saint Paul you have to go through the breakwater at high tide if you miss it or get into a storm you can get beached on the rocks. When Elliot was captain of the Saga Arctic Hunter went out when it was ripping and the next thing that happened was Coast Guard was the radio and Arctic Hunter issued a Hong Kong distress call they beached themselves on the rocks outside of Dutch. Elliot who just offloaded had to go out there and rescue them it was ripping so bad that he barely got the Arctic Hunter crew off their boat and back to Dutch. Arctic Hunter remained on the rocks for two more days before it finally sank torn to shreds by the rocks.

I can't imagine what the captains of these boats go through, having a camera crew invading their lives. Showbiz will kill you. Don't fall into the trap all of the deckhands and captains we love you dearly send showbiz out to sea.

Every season there's drama on the vessel called Saga with a different Captain. Go figure.

Those camera angles/shots did not do justice to what was happening. Should have forward bow shot the whole time with intermittent stern. Poor editing.
