+Wasted Funny because its accurate. Pretty much all the retorts in this video were hypocritical though, IMO. Whats funny is that I actually generally agre with Reynads sentiment. I agree with the idea that making the game forum a sesspool is a bad idea, the problem is Reynad acting high and mighty like hes floating above the sewerage waste, when he was born out of it. At present, his entire channel involves him pretending to get salty, and its largely an act. But in the past, it was much more about drama really. You cant have built a 20k viewership over 5 years on drama and salt, and then when you dont need drama and salt anymore to sustain the 20k viewers, pretend everybody else who uses drama and salt are all of a sudden really bad guys. Almost without exception, all the successful twitch streamers are personality driven, not pro gameplay driven. His personality can easily be summarised as drama and salt. I can actually respect the guy hes trying to be in 2016, hes trying to take some responsibility and be more of a leader/rolemodel for the stream.... ...What i cant respect is throwing everybody under the bus that is doing the exact same thing he did over many years. Its hypocritical for a start, but it really just comes off as retarded to anybody other than himself who cant seem to look past his own ego. The retort about threatening to quit 'a dozen times', involved him admitting to actually doing it once and joking about it 100x times on twitch, so it was actually true. The claim about him not being a drama whore involved a flimsy defense that was pretty dishonest. He took the remark about donations as an interpretation that it was only regarding text to speech. Are you telling me that if somebody looked through your vods they would only find 1 racist remark ever as you indicated? I've only watched him a few dozens times over several years and I've seen plenty more than he indicated have occurred. Just because you dont use actual speech doesnt mean you dont give a platform to hate/witch hunts, you name it via donations, especially his beef with other streamers that was his bread and butter content from 5-20k viewer growth (and lets be honest, he only avoids text-to-speech it because hes now big enough he can get donations without it). Basically everything the redditor claimed about him was true at one point, hes just trying to be better in 2016. Okay, but how many of your '20k viewers' that you sit down to everyday would you actually have without the drama. Its okay to have grand ideas about the scene being better than it is. But to give an analogy, Reynad is basically going around calling alcoholics scumbags because hes been sober for a week. Its disgusting.

I'm not denying that reynad and massan are/have been in the wrong and I'm certainly not saying they shouldn't be punished for it, I just don't want things like this to take the community into a spiral of hatred. On the opposite side, maybe the only way we can garner enough attention to punish things like viewbotting is through filling reddit. I just don't see how you can 'enjoy the show' when the show is a man's life and reputation being ripped apart.

So witch-hunting is bad even if they are guilty and it's up in the air whether their hearthstone career should be tarnished or not. Reddit shouldn't an arbitrator in these sorts of situations yet it has power to. Though I guess the problem with reynoodle's side is that it seems like he is letting massan go free without scrutiny given all of the convincing alleged evidence.

Joppsta360 People will "witch hunt" anyway regardless of this massan affair, mob mentality+anonymity. Also he did other sketchy stuff too from credible people like thjis and dog so I don't think he should get of the hook.

ZDY Yeah one of the main themes is how humans inflict pain and suffering for no other reason than pleasure. It goes over the mentality of witch hunts, and the ending is great. I just finished it the other day and what you said reminded me of it.
