So I just need to have a level 80 weapon and it needs to be pop 50 or more?

the good part is that you don't need to play the others since they all have different stories, I only played the first one before 5. disgaea 5 is such a good game, you can play endless hours and it doesn't get boring, because there's so much to do! I don't have the switch version but I definetely recommend it

Just letting you know you'll have to beat the game to get the best grinding spots, so work on class mastery and leveling ur squads until then, also innocent hunting and leveling the squads for innocents plus curry recipes for dmg n other stuff, dont worry too much bout reincarnating til you unlock the elite 4 squad and have mastered all other classes for that char. Abuse magic change it lets u grind 2 people for class mastery, levels and mana so u can max out more people faster, also get a Sage and max them first and just reincarnate ur generic chars into monsters that can turn into staffs and magic change them to ur Sage for easy fast grinding. I know this comments a year old, but incase anybody else needs it, its rank 40 in the weapon for the regular one, rank 100 for the carnage version.

max out your class masteries for all classes for your sage (using subclasses), then you should reincarnate her, you will notice a massive stat difference

AFAIK, 20m is the cap for natural stats. Then Evilities can go up to 100% for a total of 40m, and then equipment for higher than that.

10 mil = base stats 10 mil = shards and extracts 20 mil = Squads and Evilities EE = Item Word for building 3 traps and R40 weapons. Other = Eclipse Power by killing Item World bosses and invaders. You have to unlockEclipse Power. It slowly caps at 30 mil.

Skin. In D5 you actually can boost anything to max, it is longer for some pieces of gear and at a point it can get very hard killing monsters in the item world as well.

+Shane Conway There are a number of ways. You can use the Sage like in the guide and put other characters in the XP training squad or you can just do the training stages with another character. The main thing is the statisticians and cheat shop for fast levelling.

A follow up to Star's comment. Thankfully almost every class gets a 3x3 atk so you can just farm Training stage 4.

I was looking more into the Elite 4 training but it just makes it that much harder when doing that. Sage training is so much easier than any other character and the time needed for the other characters is well, not a wonderful design. I want to wipe out carnage mode but the outlook is bleak with the amount of time needed. Not sure I can put that many hours into it.

+Colum Peel Previous Disgaea games required it to be a legendary item (aka at least 50 rarity) and I believe I have had a failed attempt in the past due to not increasing rarity. I'd have to go back and confirm it now you've mentioned but I would think having at least 50 is required.

From experience all I've paid attention to was item level (never paid the damnedest bit of attention to rarity). Twice I've swiped the baal sword and did nothing other than clear the main levels and killed lvl spheres (and lifted fish). I may have been lucky and simply achieved rarity by dicking about and leveling or had a rare enough weapon to begin with. I'm hunting a Trap and other level 40's at the minute so if I realise anything I'll grab a screen dump and post a link to it here. :) By the way, don't know if you mentioned this, but Shard and Extract farming might need an updated mention. Given the switch release of D5 Complete the use of Metalia's Overload seems more effective than Land Decimator and a Megaphone. Let a strong enough Metalia get attacked until the Overload activates and let loose. Between 70-95 each time depending on the level of Asagis. A 3 star carnage asagi with a 20million stat Metalia will net about 70 asagis. Total extract value is roughly 100k per stat. Variation of the stars will net more asagis, but less stats or fewer asagis but more stats. The only thing is the clean up afterwards. Use a strong character in the Capture squad to mop up or just kill while holding the megaphone. As for Land decimator with a similarly ranked Sage the average sweep in 20-40 asagis per stage and a very unrealiable attack that takes a lot of set up (and a brutally OP Sage that's at least twice as powerful as the asagis) and tries to work. It is a quick and universal method but imo the matalia method is better.

BLACK FLAME do you mean on how to beat goldion on the carnage dimension stage? Whats your stats on your character that you mainly use like for example a sage. Heres a tip on how to beat goldion, use 3 succubus' and place them around goldion in a triangle formation as they debuff his stats by 50%. From there you can just hit him with magic. Do you play on ps4 if you do i can give you some of my builds as im in end game and trying to beat carnage baal

By that i mean: you can enter the carnage dimension when u go to goldion character that is in your pocket nether world. i eant to know how to make him appear in my pocket nether world and how i could make my characters super strong like yours. notice i play in (post game 2). Actually the game gives you all the explaining you need. There's a guide for all the concept, and Disgaea is all about EXPLOITING THESE CONCEPTS. Without the internet, you just have to crank up your brain!

The item God 2 in a Rank 39 Land of Carnage weapon will always hold the Rank 40 weapon of that type. For example, an Item God 2 in a Land of Carnage Yoshitsuna will be holding a Baal Sword. Plus if you kill the Item God 2 after stealing the weapon you get a unique innocent as a bonus! Sorry if this stuff wasn't clear enough in the video. Thanks for watching!

The letters before a weapon level is how proficient you are in them meaning its how fast you level up in weapon mastery and this also applies for your defence, and the level of your mastery determines whether or not you can use the ultimate skills for a weapon path for example fists ultimate skill is called no way out and swords ultimate skill is called siper crosslord. Weapom level aslo decides of you can aquire the secret ultimate R40 weapon in the item world but you need to MAX the weapon level to 100.

NamiChanXO Kirby in order to get r40 items there are 3 ways on how to get it and this also applies for charnage weapons so the information works for both. The first way to get a r40 item is to get a r39 item for example the staff r39 weapon is called Solomon staff, once aquired you need to level it up to lvl 100 AS well as you have to STEAl it from the item god, if the item god is male use 3 succubus' and place them around the item god to reduce its stats by 50% (if the item gods female the do the same strat to reduce its stats but with the mushroom monsters instead as it reduces its stats for females by 50%). 2nd way to gain a r40 item is to get to the secret mystery room that houses the weapon. Im pretty sure you need to have the weapon level on your character to be at 100 to obtain it. Lets say your item is the mystery room sword and your character that you control has a 99 in sword mastery, he/she cannot obtain the weapon as it has a weapon mastery lock. The third way is pretty ridiculous as you need to SOMEHOW find a r40 netherworld in the netherworld research AND complete the stage, the enemies in r40 netherworldz are retardedly strong and imo its not worth it to get r40 weapons that way. Tldr: 1st way is to find r39 weapons and levelling them up to 100 and on floor 99 uour gency out keep stealing from the item god on floor 100. 2nd way is to get lucky on the mystery rooms and have max mastery on the weapon your grinding the mystery room for and the 3rd way is from r40 netherworld research

succubus/mushroom can lower stats of enemies. Some characters and spells can raise yours. Gency on floor 99 and save. Try until you get it.
