for D2 the back of the disc says track 02 Roar of the Netherworld~darkness

Yeah, I also have the English Disgaea D2 OST, and on the back this track is called "Roar of the Netherworld ~darkness", however in the Japanese Disgaea D2 OST the track is called "Whisper of Hell" and I actually uploaded the Disgaea D2 OST back in April when I got the OST with my Japanese imported Disgaea D2 Limited Edition Famitsu DX Pack! That's why it's called "Whisper of Hell" in this video...

Also, "Devil Rock Hero", the default BGM for the Overlord's Castle, is incorrectly called "Whisper of Hell~darkness" in the Data Shop of most versions of the game (both Japanese and English), however it's correctly labeled as "Devil Rock Hero" in both the Japanese and English OSTs.
