Anyone remember those day trips (30+ years back) over to Calais to go shopping. Interesting food, cheap wines, useful kitchenware, pleasant cafes. We used to take our bikes and cycle around the town. It was very peaceful, friendly, apparently crime free and a great day out or, better still, a few days. The beaches were excellent on warm summer days. Starmer can only implement his policies because of the people of the uk .If you dont vote for him and give his party a majority .I use the word majority loosely .Then he wouldn't be implementing his policies .When 70 percent of these isles failed to vote for labour and they can govern with a 30 odd percent vote .Then you know the system of voting in these isles is wrong .I would call a majority vote as being 51 percent of eligible voters voting .Can only give any party a mandate to implement their policies .The brexit vote was 52 %to leave the eu .Labours vote 30 odd percent and starmer had the cheek to try and overturn the brexit vote .

I’m concerned about the RNLI LASTING MUCH LONGER AS A CHARITY. DONATIONS MUST BE QUITE DEPLETED BY NOW PLUS THE VOLUNTEERS WHO HELP TO KEEP THIS AFLOAT(excuse the pun) are very worried as to what is going to happen to them when they are ostracised by family,friends and the general public
