It's crazy that they can advertise those wipes as "flushable." I swear the main cause of almost every drain blockage video that I watch is from people flushing wipes.

Skiddies are "flushable'..... Doesn't mean they dissolve in water. The government needs to crack down on what these companies out in their advertising.

Wipes make those people business blooming, its terrible some people got no sense that wipes cause drain blocking, buy that stupid, its only cause them loose money and inconvenience

@@ro63rto ... Never heard of 'skiddies' but it's a great name. I agree with what you say, and I use wipes for things and they're very useful, but I'd never ever flush them down the toilet. Even the so called 'flushable' one's aren't really flushable as you said, as they don't break up when wet. I suppose they'll eventually get banned and legitimate users who use them responsibly will be inconvenienced by the few irresponsible users.

Go back and listen to the audio on this. I heard you go through the wipes just outside the manhole around 4:06 on the video. It was an obvious wipe ball from the sound. People that do not do this may not realize you use every sense you have from feel, smell, and sound. Great work men.

Flushable wipes are flushable, once they get through the toilet they then stop being flushable and turn blockable.

Funny that we all want the same problem-solving, but each has a slightly different approach to success. Of course, I'm sitting here on my couch 1,500 km away, wondering how I would do it differently. Just like a lot of viewers do 😅 But that's easy, as everything in life in the aftermath... The main thing is that I see , that you both are not giving up but keeping up till it's done with the tools you have in the van..👍

Challenging unblock. Joe is new to the camera work. I saw more of his face on the drain cam screen then I did of the drain displacement. 😂 You guys all work together well. Joe is still getting used to shadows and sun glares. Out of curiosity how many go pros do you guys have? Hoping everyone is well? Jenny great job as usual. These videos are edited so well. I can’t even imagine how many boring bits you have to watch and cut out. 🤣

You get used to the smells to be honest! When I do a camera survey to investigate where bad smells may be coming from, the customers always say to me ‘hey!! Can you smell that drain smell now?” 😂 I can’t smell anymore so it’s the worst😂

#1 with clogs and blockages like this I can see is that they never seem to have gotten enough liquids with the solids. Thats why I always flush 1 empty and every so often pour a bucket down.

Always enjoy the videos, was curious as if there was something in the pipe or the pipes were coming apart? It was hard to see on screen with the sun. You can tell the big guy takes about an hour to do his hair and beard before work but looks impressive. Missed seeing the boss in this one.

I have a suggestion - what if, inside the manholes, you put some big fat sharpie marks/arrows just inside the lid to show where the outlets are down below so it’s easier the next time to find them

Everyone learns the hard way, sewers are for sewage, the trash is for paper wipes and everything else. I would think most of these businesses after a thoroughly costly cleaning then make sure no one flushes wipes or other paper or solids down the comode or sink.

Jetter 2 Andy deserves an apology from paranoid Andy me thinks. These MerseyRod guys are genuine and shouldn’t be getting verbally abused due to a misunderstanding. If people choose to send the team any items/gifts that’s by choice and shouldn’t have any expectations from that. Jetter 2 Andy explained situation with the stickers/videos so if paranoid Andy can’t except it that’s his own issues he needs to sort 👀 👀

So watched a few videos and wipes seem to be the main cause of blockage, but pushing them out to the main drain just moves the problem onto the council, but guess whatever works.

Can’t really retrieve them, the only way is a vacuum tanker but that is incredibly expensive
