I'm old school Z! First car I bought while in High School was a 74 260Z. Loved that car and so did the Law. I only wish we had the technology back then like you do now. Back then, bore the block , shave the head, rework the Springs. Either a trick set of SU carbs or triple webbers, maybe unilite ingnition system. Probably a good thing I couldn't get a hold of future technology, I'd probably still be locked down! That's one sweet fast ass hot rod you have there!!!! Love It!

@@GriffinBlanchard motor and gearbox are in and I’m setting up intercooler and piping now then brakes,computer and all the other little bits.Still a bit to do but hoping mid next year for start up,it’s a big job to get everything in there as space is very tight, looking forward to being back on the road and burning up some tires

As a huge Z car fan - I'm not the biggest fan of swaps with s30s, but with the L-series you can't get this power. My order would be Rebello > RB Swap > 1J /2J swap. But this is leaps and bounds better than a LS swap

@@GriffinBlanchard it's definitely not a bad swap. Any inline 6 cylinder works great in these cars, I've seen some BMW swapped ones too even a 4cyl Honda engine. This has to be one of the chassis with most different types of engine swaps. I'm just biased because I love the original L-series engines so much. IMO Nissan hit the nail on the head out the gate. A Rebello would bring the power up to around 300hp and I think it's perfect for the weight of the car

@@TheMainMan318 if you are going for 300hp, a k24 fits this car better than any nissan engine. Nissan made cool cars back then, especially with handling/steering, but they had crappy engines. Im a big toyota fan-have a few supras and a 2nd gen mr2, so it hurts me on the inside saying a honda k24 engine is probably one of the best n/a swap to do on something light.

@@Nexumis to me it's more than just horsepower though. An NA Rebello engine is perfect for these cars. Original style engine, quick revving, amazing sound, in my opinion it really can't be beat for the all around package

You forgot L28ET swap. But I see the appeal of 2J/1J LS etc. I’m doing a L28ET swap on my 240Z but also will be a rebello built L28

Im a fan of motor swaps, I wish it was an RB, but I guess the 1J JDM will suffice LOL That is a badass car man, hope to see it out on when my RB25 240 is done. It would be badass to run this car.

Awesome video. Fiesta content is great, actually went and bought one probably most fun car for city driving. Seeing your face drive this reminds me of my first drive in my ptuning turbo s2000 makes 570hp 400wtq on a GTX3076R 12psi, best way to describe it is sketchy.
