Granny Rags used to be known as Lady Moray, she was sent to Addemire Asylum and you can find her journals there in the basement. Her portrait in the first game is in the Boyle mansion. Corvo defeats her in the sewers canonically, but in the second game Paolo is using her powers as he has her hand.

Ah hell yeah. I was waiting for this, i personally like Dishonored 1 more than 2 but the gameplay in 2 is just so amazing. My favourite part is the fact that you can actually pretty easily do a non lethal playthrough where you go into combat all the time, doing those cool slide knockdowns in the middle of a fight is just so satisfying.

Btw, since you seem to be playing Death of the Outsider, theres something interesting to note that it seems you missed based on the footage. If you actually save Stilton by stopping his attendance to the séance, Billie's arm and eye are still intact

For the achievement where you need to kill an enemy with his own bullet, there is an easier way. There is an ability called reflexes that actually allows you to reflect bullets with your sword when upgraded

For clean hands you actually just climb up the ledges to the right after you enter the painting and Delilah is just there. So you can just choke her out and skeddadle and it counts as never being spotted and clean hands, lol. Also for fatal redirect you can just get the 'parry gunshots' ability and redirect the bullet with your sword. But I am amazed you had so much trouble with songs of serkonos. I got that one on a casual playthrough by just chilling out and listening. The one that took me the longest was 'collect all the coins' and even that one was fun to do.

Well, if it's any consolation, if you do Death of The Outsider the achievements are really easy

You have to do the same with deathloop as if I remember it's in the same universe as dishonored but in the future

I think the witches get their power from Breanne who gets it from Delilah, because only she has the mark. So when Breanne loses her power, the witches connected to her also lose theirs. Also, the Dishonore series is a favourite of mine, thanks, man!

It's wonderful to see another person enjoy this game, I've seen many arguments for and against, but I really love both of them, even Death of the Outsider, which seems to catch a lot more contempt. There was a comment recently by Dinga Bakaba "confirming" that Deathloop was canonically part of the Dishonored world, which if you follow the comment the Outsider makes on time bleeding into itself, kinda tracks, along with some other easter eggs, but I'd still take that with a grain of salt. Also I've tried comparing Deathloop's map to Dishonored, I can't find a match, but that could mean anything from the landscape changed, to it wasn't discovered until much later, to "they made it the hell up".

I really love how if you knock out Aramis Stilton in the past before you watch the ritual, the whole present changes and Aramis Stilton is not truamatized anymore since he wasnt apart of the ritual and can rule so the present looks alot better and cleaner. Stilton also appears on your ship to talk to.

I reaaaaaaallly hope you like death of the outsider because while not liked much by the community, i think it has some extremely memorable missions and specifically the last mission is my #1 dishonored mission just because it takes place partially in the void which i love because the void in dishonored 2 and DotO is super atmospheric.

I was super sceptical about buying dishonored 2 but your video, and my love of achievment hunting, made me buy it and trying it out thank you and keep up the good work.

The missions and locations of Dishonored 2 are just awe inspiring! There’s a reason I replay this series every year at least once. My personal favorite games ever made!

I thought the achievements for this game were perfect. They were fun, made you think, and made you do multiple playthroughs. Took me around 35ish hours to get all the achievements and I absolutely loved every second of it. Made all the better by New Game+ although I must admit after two runs on the very hard difficulty and the flesh and steel achievement being the only one remaining I did stick it on easy. You definitely tried to do some achievements the hard way though, for example not using the deflect bullet upgrade to get a guard killed with their own bullet. Strangely, I never had a problem with the Songs of Serkonos achievement.

Can't wait to see the next Dishonored video! That being said, I'd love to recommend the Adam Jensen Deus Ex games if you haven't 100% completed them yet (for Human Revolution you can do either the original release and the standalone DLC game, or the director's cut, which is an older version of the game in some ways than the original final release, but has the DLC included (since it takes place during the events of the game))

Its funny how you struggled so much with the musician's achievement, I got that one without actively trying or even knowing the achievement existed on my first playthrough :D For me the problem is rather the fact that you have to play the game 2/3 times to get 100%, but i admire your dedication. I just finished the no kill and no detection challenge for my first playthrough myself, and I have to say Dishonored 2 definitely lived up to its predecessor. I used Emily, and I found all her powers to be intriguing and useful in their own right (some more then others in a pacifist route).

Seeing someone struggle with Songs of Serkonos is so relatable lol. It took me so many playthroughs just to get it to pop. I feel like the main reason it was bugged is due to how the music is being played. Sometimes you will hear only instruments being played, and sometimes you will only hear the vocals being played without any instruments. However, in order for the achievement to pop, you need to ensure that you listen to the song from start to end while having BOTH vocals and instrumentals audible. This meant I'd have to sit there and listen to the duo loop their song multiple times until the conditions were met and lo and behold, it popped.

To explain why the witches are knocked out when you suck Breanna's powers, it's because her coven weren't naturally given their powers, they were "graced" with them by Breanna herself, so if she losses it, so do they since they're essentially just siphoning some from her. Also another cool fact, if you don't turn on any contraptions at Jindosh's mansion, he will never be aware someone is there, and thus won't turn on his clockwork soldiers in the last room, but that means going through the mansion normally which is slightly less interesting but also shockingly enough a lot more difficult.

It took me more than 1000 hours to get all the achievements in Fallout 4, I didn't hunt them actively but I do want to see you get them!

I really enjoyed dishonored 2. Loved the first one when it came out and preordered 2 the moment I found out about it but didn’t play it for years. I’m very glad I waited to play it with the not so great launch and bugs but it felt great to revisit the world and characters. I wholeheartedly agree with you about 2 perfecting aspects of 1. It was a great challenge to play blind with no powers and on the hardest difficulty. I hope arcane can think of something that would be a good follow up, like a granny rags prequel or something

I got dishonored 2 on launch and have always said it's better than the first I love both dearly and are in the top 5 games I've ever played watching you do both has made me want to go replay them again amazing pieces of art.

Oh, Songs of Serkonos! I got that achievement on my first run :) Story-wise, I hold Dishonored 1 to be the better game - tighter writing and more video-gamey room for interpretation, imo - but gameplay-wise 2 absolutely takes the cake. I don't play 1 much anymore because I can't nonlethally slide-takedown folks like Batman, lol, but I do revisit it for its atmosphere.

Actually, you can knock Stilton unconscious in the past, so he won't be at the ritual and he won't go insane. He will become an ally. Also, Meagan/ Billy won't lose her eye and arm trying to rescue him.

I finally 100%-ed this game yesterday, and tbh my favorite achievement was the one where you cant use your abilities. Its very interesting to find ways to get around situations using your full arsenal of non-magical tools

yeah i agree on Dishonored 2 being better than the first one, and i think the main reason for it is the level desing. The first game was increbidly good as it was and was definetely great for it's time, but some things in the second game like the clockwork mansion (as much of a pain in the ass as that mission was) and the timepiece mechanic are just beyond anything i've seen in any other game ever. This franchise still holds a place to me as one of the most unique games in it's core design between all the hundreds of games i've played over the years.

This was my very first game for the Xbox one, and boy what a game to play first. Especially since it’s the second in the series. I loved each and every minute of this game but never understood it and I really I didn’t mind. Wish I still had that Xbox just so I could replay it again

I feel so bad for you man. When I first played Dishonored 2 I got the Songs of Serconos achievement purely by accident by just hanging around looting everything trying to be stealthy :D

I replayed them both last year with the intent to get the platinum but didn’t want to burn out so I did the clean hands and not spotted trophies and need to replay the both for the no powers, I got the songs of serkonos way back when I played it in 2016 but I don’t recall going for it so I mustn’t have got lucky with it and just been near them when they were singing! Need to go back and get these now I’ve seen these videos, can easily speed through the no powers

I'm sure many know this, but I just wanted to point this out. You don't need the door code inside Stilton's mansion to see the ritual. What you can do is put Stilton to sleep in the past and go to the door in the changed present. The door in the present is codeless but blocked off by boarded up wood that can easily be sliced off with the sword.

I also had problems with the music achievement, but for different reasons. I always tought the third song was inside the Duke's Mansion but the achievement never appared. Later I learned that musicians from the mansion had nothing to do with the achievement, and that if you steal the black market more than X amount of times, the third encounter doesn't happen because there are some howlers waiting to ambush you were they're usually playing their song.

I liked the first game more, but DAMN did I love the Clockwork Mansion! It was probably my favorite level in any video game until the Ashtray Maze in Control.
