They could've improve the AI of a normal assassin and add in fast pistol shots, crossbow shots, rats when he blinks away and make him a bit faster than regular assassin. Its not they can't do it they just didn't.

Corvo was always better Daud. No matter what canoically Corvo defeats him.

Doesn’t Corvo have like more powers? His pistol can get upgraded too while Daud just sticks with the default one the entire game.

The powers are almost the same, the only major differences are that daud can Pull in WoB and summon assassins, but corvo can summon rats and whirlwinds. Daud was abducted and started making a name and a gang for himself and by himself at age 16 in Dunwall, while Corvo lost his family and became a bodyguard and later a royal protector, so their struggles are fairly similair as well.

@@lakepanzer5749 not only that but their blinks and time stops aren’t just similar, they’re identical. The only reason dauds blink is better is because his experience has led him to figure out how to use it better (corvo controls his blink through sight, daud controls his through.. imagination) which is a way better explanation than “it’s just better”.

Do you want the lore explanation or the real life explanation? The lore explanation is that this is just a dream, so it's not an accurate portray of Corvo. The real life explanation is probably the studio didn't have enough time or money to create a whole new set of animation just for Corvo, for this small fight.

Dude no his AI is so good he would spot you very easily and with blink he would constantly be on your ass in addition to there being a lot of them. He also blocks literally every sword attack head on and can country most of your moves and parry you even when you use blink. I would say it would be impossible

Broke Daud's sword arm and gets stabbed in the neck 2. Daud can pretty much stand there and be torn to bits

No Corvo can't do that.That is Daud's speciality. In Dishohoured everyone had some speciality the special blink, summon assassin and pull is Daud's. For Corvo its possession and wind blast.
