In this video I present you the aspect of Dislocation in Discourse and how change in Discourse can be understood. I already explained this aspect in my video about Laclau and Mouffes Discourse Theory but in this video I would like to go a bit more into detail and outline the two possible definitions. First dislocation as a fundamental feature and continuing lack in discourse on the level of the individual and the whole structure. And secondly as an unexpected event that is not possible to explain in the existing discourse structures and that need a reorganisation of discourse. These notions of dislocation are 'windows of opportunities' for interventions and therefore for change in discourse.
