“Hold Your Fire” is a song that was first conceived during the infamous summer of 2020, from the perspective of a young man living in a big city in America. The heaviness and darkness of the riff and hook paved the way for more serious subject matter than previous Steckel originals. During the latest sessions at Steakhouse Studios, the time felt right for Eric and his power trio to track this one live (and loud) to tape, and the result proved to be the heaviest Steckel original to date.
